General Hospital Spoilers: Dex’s Risky New Assignment – Josslyn Panics Over Sonny’s Mission

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will want payback for the latest drama at the Metro Court pool. It certainly looks like someone wants to take Sonny out, so he’ll try to end this nightmare by coming out of hiding and offering up a clear view of himself.

If Sonny is the target, he’ll make it easy for the person after him to fire away. However, Sonny may not be the true target like he thinks he is.

Even if Sonny is the intended target here, it looks like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will be the one who’s wounded instead.

Although Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will make an arrest during the week of July 10-14, that may or may not be connected to this case.

It’s worth noting that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will form a theory after that arrest is made, so there’ll clearly still be some puzzle pieces to sort out.

Dante was already concerned about the threat to Sonny, but he’ll be even more worried after all this chaos erupts.

Sonny definitely won’t tolerate this level of danger, especially since it’s happening in a public place around people that he cares about.

You can bet Sonny will leave no stone unturned when it comes to catching the people responsible for this.

As part of that plan, GH spoilers hint that Sonny may put Dex to work on a risky new assignment.

Dex will indeed receive another mission during the week of July 17-21, so we can assume it’ll come from Sonny unless Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has additional orders.

There might be some clues for Dex to follow, but he could be playing with fire. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will get some startling news, so she’ll most likely object to Dex putting his own life on the line for Sonny again.

Dex already did that back at the warehouse, but helping Sonny remains his job.

The fact that Dex wasn’t at the pool to look out for Sonny may make him feel even more obligated to help crack the case and make Sonny’s mysterious enemy pay.
