‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) might let themselves get a little too comfortable and let their guard down.

While it may seem like the storm has gone past them, there might be another, bigger one right around the corner that they don’t see coming!

Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) hasn’t been causing drama and trouble like his normal self lately, so while Austin and Ava may think that they have made it through Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) troubling plan, they should still keep one eye open for Mason because now would be the perfect time for him to pop out and start causing some chaos.

Right now, the police believe Nikolas to be on the run and Ava and Austin would absolutely love to keep it that way. As long as Nikolas isn’t in their lives, they can continue on and live normally for now. However, their momentary peace could be interrupted by Mason.

Mason could cause even more trouble if he wants to talk to the police and run his mouth to them. In the end, Ava and Jerome may only have one option… listen and do whatever Mason wants. Mason will think they’re making the right move and give some orders that could turn out for the worst.

He could have a dangerous job for them to carry out during May and there’s no idea just yet about what the job could involve, but you can assume it’s going to be illegal and neither will be thrilled about doing it. Mason is going to love the leverage he gets in the coming weeks.

Thanks to the blackmail material he has, he’ll be in charge of a while and can throw Ava and Austin around at his will.
