General Hospital Spoilers: Ned’s Amnesia Changes Everything – Can’t Remember Nina’s the SEC Snitch?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will fear her engagement to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be over long before she makes it to the altar. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) urged Nina to accept that she wouldn’t be getting her happily ever after with Sonny, so that’s weighing on her.

Of course, things aren’t so simple now that Ned’s taken a tumble into the pool and hit his head. Will Ned experience memory loss as a result of that injury?

If there was ever the perfect time for the show to rely on amnesia as a soap trope, it’s now!

That could create another complication and leave Nina worried about the possibility that Ned will eventually have total recall.

There’s a chance Ned will land in a coma for a while if the writers really want to drag this out, but he’ll obviously pull through this crisis sooner or later.

Once Ned finally awakens, amnesia could certainly be a factor in his storyline.

The week of June 12-16 will bring a shocker for the Quartermaine clan – and Nina will have to react quickly as she presumably tries to cover her tracks.

GH fans will no doubt see Nina cling to hope of a bright future with Sonny as she tries to avoid the consequences of her actions.

Ned’s potential memory loss could make things fuzzy enough to give her that opportunity.

At some point, Sonny is bound to find out Nina reported Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC anonymously.

Nina can’t get away with this forever, but there may be some twists and turns that prolong the inevitable!

Naturally, we should point out that Carly is keeping big secrets from Sonny too since she knows about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) planting Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in his father’s organization for a takedown.

Carly also wants Dex to remain in the mob and continue to deceive Sonny – albeit with better intentions – but Sonny wouldn’t approve of Michael running things behind the scenes.

In other words, Nina isn’t the only one doing things behind Sonny’s back, so that could help her undo the damage down the road.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will get some stunning updates eventually, but Ned’s amnesia might prevent Nina’s bad news from spilling just yet.
