General Hospital is on a roll with recasts, new and cross-over characters! Not that we are complaining though! Especially when it comes to roping in the likes of Walt Wiley ( Jack Montgomery)! Now, the latest news making rounds is that Adam s back! Did the name not ring a bell? Let us give you a refresher then! Back in 2018, the makers brought in a young star to portray a young Sonny on the show. And if you though he held an uncanny resemblance to the real Sonny Corinthos, you are right!
It was because the actor is General Hospital star Maurice Benard’s real life son, Joshua. Later in 2022, Joshua Benard once again stepped into the soap. But this time he portrayed an all new character, Adam, who was Josslyn’s classmate. However, we haven’t seen him ever since the 2022 massacres by the rampant Hook Killer. But thankfully, Adam wasn’t a c asualty of the serial killer. The sort of mellowed down trouble maker just disappeared into thin air! Where and why, we don’t know!
But with the spoilers teasing Adam’s return to General Hospital, we guess we will find out where he has been all this while. The reports state that he may appear back on our screens as early as next week! However, there is no news yet about what his storyline will be! We wonder if his return will somehow cause a shift in Joss and Dex’s relationship? The two seem quite solid and steady. But these things have a way of changing rather quickly on Daytime.
But then, there is also an equal chance that Adam’s story will not cross paths with Joss at all! General Hospital has a large canvas and an even larger character pool! So there is a possibility that Adam’s return to Port Charles could be related to someone else! It is to be noted that Joshua recently performed on stage with Maurice during his father’s tour. Maurice even joked that perhaps Joshua could return to GH as Adam to perform at the next Nurse’s Ball!
But what if the makers found a way to bring him back sooner! We know PC has found a resident rockstar in Eddie Maine on General Hospital these days! What if Adam is returning to the fold to perform alongside Eddie in some upcoming episode? This may even lead to a story of some newly discovered family ties for Adam! What do you think?
