Robyn Brown always gets her way, and the Sister Wives' star may not be the ultimate polygamist. Wanting Kody all to herself isn't her only red flag.

Over the years, Sister Wives diva Robyn Brown has talked a good game about polygamy, but she may be all talk and no action lately, and that’s not the only shady thing about her. When she came into the Brown family, Robyn changed everything. Kody Brown obviously fell head over heels in love with her. In fact, it seemed like he’d never really been in love before, despite having three other wives. Kody may not have expected to adore the dainty brunette, but it happened, changing the polygamous family forever.

The other wives were jealous. Their resentment positively festered, poisoning the environment. Sister Wives‘ Robyn Brown got a rather serious villain edit, She was generally perceived as a cross between the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz and some kind of master manipulator, such as Charles Manson. The criticism was over the top. Nonetheless, her power in the family was almost absolute. By batting her eyelashes, or squeezing out a few more of the inevitable tears, “Sobbin’ Robyn” could get her way. Now, it’s three wives down and only Robyn left standing. She’d like to keep it that way.

Did Robyn Fake Her Love Of Polygamy?

For eons, Robyn’s been accused of being the fakest person ever. It’s not just the crying over absolutely anything – it’s the “niceness” to the other wives. She’s basically taunted Meri, Janelle and Christine Brown with her cloying, saccharine sweetness. While Robyn may actually be a good person, and wholly undeserving of the hate she gets, she’s simply not trusted. When she opened up in January 2023, (via People) saying that Kody bringing in a new wife would be, “disrespectful,” it seemingly confirmed that she’d always had an agenda, which was making sure that she had curly-haired Kody all to herself.

Did Robyn Preach Unity While Steathily Tearing Apart The Brown Family?

People change, so Robyn may have been genuinely into polygamy in the past, but reject it now. That’s not exactly a crime. It could be argued that it’s an epiphany, and a sign of wisdom. However, there’s always the chance that she was never as committed to sharing her man with a bunch of other women as she let on. She appeared to sow dissent in the ranks, by preaching unity, while making sure that she got a better house, more time with Kody, and…everything else she wanted.

One notable example was her shaming Kody into offering Meri a S’Mores during a family get-together. Robyn stage-whispered her demand that Kody deliver the tasty treat to his other wife. Of course, Meri heard it all, and in her usual Eeyore-esque fashion, hung her head. While Robyn’s concern for Meri may have been one hundred percent sincere, it could also have been a clever ruse, designed to make Meri feel worse than ever.

Does Robyn Need To Get Real?

If Robyn’s just conning viewers, or conning herself, it might be time for her to come clean. The red flags are waving in the breeze, based on her comments about a possible new wife. If Kody does decide to bring a new female into the mix, it might be World War Three. She’ll have to dig deep into her bag of tricks to convince Kody that he’s making a mistake. In that regard, she’s a formidable woman with an impressive track record. Nonetheless, it could end in tears.

If Sister Wives‘ Robyn instead chooses to finally shed the mask and get real, really laying down the law, by stating plainly that she’s had enough of polygamy to last a lifetime, it will be so epic. She might even add the cherry on top by confessing that she never, ever liked the other wives, and tried to ruin their relationships with Kody. What a stunning display of honesty that would be! Will it happen? You bet it won’t.
