At the hospital, TJ congratulates Portia on her new job. She thanks him and says she still hasn’t had the chance to tell Curtis, so not to mention it to him yet. She’s also waiting for it to be official.

At home, Curtis lifts weights when there is a knock at the door. It’s Stella, who hopes this isn’t a bad time to drop by. He says it isn’t, and he finishes his last set as they catch up. She tells him how proud she is of him, and he says everything he does is for Trina, Portia and Marshall. He knows his family needs him and he’s not going to let them down.

There is a knock at the door and it’s Selina and her associate holding a giant gift basket. Stella asks what she wants. Selina says she’s here to see her friend, but Stella says she has no friends here. Curtis says it’s okay as Selina is a business associate.

Stella leaves them for a moment and Selina says she wanted to give Curtis time to adjust to being back home before coming to see him. She hopes he’s come to his senses and is willing to sell his club. Stella returns as Selina doubles her offer for his club. He wonders why she wants his club when she could start her own for half the price that she’s offering him. She says it’s too much work and The Savoy is already established.

Portia arrives home, and Stella tells her she arrived just in time as Ms. Wu dropped by. Stella offers to make them all tea, but Selina has another appointment to get to and leaves. Portia asks what that was about. Curtis explains Selina came to talk business but asks why she’s home so early. Portia wanted to tell him her news now that it’s official, and she’s been named co-chief of staff. Stella and Curtis congratulate her.

Stella suggests they go out to dinner and celebrate, but Portia says they could just stay in. Curtis agrees with his Auntie that they should go out. Stella suggests Portia take Selina’s gift baskets to the hospital for the nurses to enjoy.

Stella later takes Portia aside and reminds her not to walk on eggshells around Curtis, who is more than capable of enjoying an evening out. Portia thought he’d be more comfortable here, but Stella assures her if he’s uncomfortable then he’ll tell them.

In his office, Austin thinks about his statement at Cyrus’ hearing, and that Mason still refuses to let Ava go without Cyrus’ permission. Dex arrives and asks if Austin has happened to see Ava. Austin hasn’t seen her for a few days but mentions Ava talked about a trip to New York and an artist she wanted to sign. Dex thanks him, puts him in a head grip, and warns him if he finds out he has been involved in anything unscrupulous involving Ava then he’ll be back. Dex storms out.

TJ checks in with Austin later, when Mason suddenly appears. TJ leaves them but remains wary of Mason. Mason asks Austin why he needs to see him. Austin warns him that Sonny knows as one of Sonny’s guys was here asking about Ava. Mason says she’s still locked in the basement safe and sound. Austin tells Mason that Sonny’s guy warned him he’d be back for him if anything happened to Ava. Mason thinks he’s got a problem.

Austin doesn’t understand what Cyrus is up to, and why he seems to hate Sonny so much. Mason explains it all started when Cyrus found out about Laura. He says Cyrus became obsessed with the fact that Sonny was considered respectable and that he had the life Cyrus wanted. Austin can’t believe this is all because Cyrus is jealous. Mason warns him not to do anything stupid, and let the boss handle Sonny.

Joss arrives at Wydemere concerned about Ava and informs Giles that Ava failed to pick Avery up last night. Giles invites her in and says he’s been concerned about Ms. Jerome, as nobody has seen or heard from her in a few days. However he did find a broken martini glass in the living room, but it might have been an accident. Giles says Austin has been a frequent visitor, so maybe they are together. Joss calls Dex and believes she’s found something.

Dex soon arrives and Joss tells him that she found Ava’s phone, which she never would have left behind, and a grape lollipop, a flavor Avery hates. Dex asks to look at the security camera footage, so Giles brings him a tablet to look over to browse through it. They see Mason arrive, but they can’t see his face due to a hood. They also see Ava leave with him, so they check the dock cameras and notice he didn’t use the launch as he had his own boat. Dex notes they can’t get the harbor camera footage without going to the cops, but Joss has another way.

Joss and Dex go to see Spinelli and bring him up to speed on the missing Ava. Joss asks Spinelli if he can hack into the harbor security and get the footage of Ava and another man arriving on the docks. Spinelli hacks into the cameras, and they are able to identify Austin’s cousin Mason. They spot them getting into a truck, which Spinelli learns is registered to a trucking company in Pautuck. Dex asks for the address of the company, and employee names, as that’s likely where they’ll find Ava.

At Pentonville, Cyrus gets a visit from Laura during off-visitation hours. Laura tells him he looks great and asks how he’s feeling. Cyrus assumes Martin filled her in on his medical problem, and he tells her about the vision he had of her that pulled him through his heart attack. Laura feels that was more Drew’s doing. Cyrus calls Drew a good man and assumes his health isn’t the reason she’s here. She heard about his application for early release. He asks if she’s here as his sister or the mayor. She says as the mayor she doesn’t interfere in judicial decisions.

Cyrus wonders if Marty told her that he gave away all his money. Laura says Martin mentioned that, but she’s having a hard time believing it. Cyrus calls it dirty money and wonders why she doesn’t doubt her friend Sonny’s intentions when he gives away his dirty money. Laura admits her and Sonny’s friendship surprises people but she didn’t realize it upset him so much. He envies Sonny and his relationship with her. He says if he gets his release, perhaps they can build a bond too. Cyrus is called by a guard to find out the judge’s decision. Cyrus thanks Laura for coming and hopes to see her again soon.

Later, Cyrus walks out of Pentonville in civilian clothes as a free man. He gets into a car that drives him away.

On the island, the wedding begins, and the priest speaks about the importance of marriage.

Sonny and Nina exchange the vows they’ve written. Sonny decides to forgo what he wrote and speaks from his heart. He thanks her for trusting him and seeing a better man in him than he ever saw in himself. He appreciates her strength in fighting for them even when everyone was against them. He’s convinced they belong together, and he loves her and always will.

Nina admits she fought the idea of the two of them as a couple for a long time, as she thought they’d never work, but she found herself falling deeper and deeper in love with him. She loves his dance moves, and she loves how he fights for his children. She’s always wanted a family, and he’s given her that family. She promises to love him for her entire life and says they can leave their mistakes in the past.

The priest leads them through the official vows and the exchange of rings. He then pronounces them husband and wife, and they kiss.

Kristina hugs Nina and welcomes her to the family, and Donna asks if she can call Nina “Momma Nina” now. Nina says she’d love nothing more and hugs the little girl.

Willow congratulates Sonny. Sonny tells her that her mother is the best thing to happen to him, and she means everything to her. Willow then congratulates and embraces Nina, while Michael hugs his father. Michael also welcomes Nina to the family and gives her a peck on the cheek.

Michael’s phone rings and he excuses himself to take it as Sonny and Nina dance with the grandkids. Michael asks his contact if he has the name of the person who turned Drew in to the SEC.

The man, who we see the back of, says the SEC was pointed towards them by Martin Grey. Michael knows that he was a go-between and needs to know who had Martin turn in his mom and Drew. Michael slowly turns around and looks at Nina.

As everyone goes to cut the cake, Michael stands back and watches. He gives Nina the side eye as she enjoys herself and toasts with Sonny. His face continues to become angrier watching everyone celebrate.

On the next General Hospital:  Cody tells Sasha she just got her life back and now she’s going to walk away from it. Maxie and Lucy have lunch and Maxie thinks they’re putting the cart before the horse. Martin tells someone, “Unless you know something I don’t, I have no businessh here.” Willow asks Michael that he never said who he needed to speak with. Kristina is surprised to see someone on the island. Carly tells Sam it’s important she believes something. Nina and Sonny enjoy the sunset, and she tells him she owes it all to him.
