Life is never easy for anyone in Port Charles on General Hospital. However, it has been particularly tough for Ned Quartermaie off-late. Not only is he having to deal with the catastrophic effects of losing his memory after the accident. But also bare the fact that he is being continuously misunderstood. The lack of support from his closest has not done him any favors either. Although recently his wife Olivia has softened towards him and is being more accepting of his Eddie persona. But the second she started to do that, we knew it was a call for trouble. And said trouble has now arrived in PC! Keep reading to find out what could happen next!
Olivia and Ned/Eddie Start Getting Closer
Olivia and Ned have had their little troubles every now and then on General Hospital, like any married couple would. But at large they were always okay. However, their life took a massive turn when Nina ratted Carly and Drew to the SEC and the blame fell on Ned. He was distraught that his wife wouldn’t trust him. Things became further worse when he suffered an accident that caused a memory affliction, ad drifted him back to his 90’s Eddie Maine persona. Leading hi to not recognize Olivia or any life with her.
Of course, this caused Olivia a great deal of stress. Eventually, it started to take a toll on her and Ned further alienated her. However, after an eventful night around town, Olivia started to view Eddie in a different light. Perhaps even started to feel attracted to him. Eddie too showed affection towards her. So much so, that he even performed a song for her. Sweet! It really started to look like the beginning of a renewed love story! Currently, Ned is working on a song that he is struggling to finish. And something tells us that the arrival of an ex might just give him the push he needs to finish it!
Lois Returns And Stirs Old Feelings In Ned On General Hospital
Will Lois prove to be the “siren” in the sea for Ned on General Hospital? It certainly feels like the story is heading that way! It is so easy to picture Lois walking into the room just as Eddie is strumming his guitar. Their eyes meet, and he feels a stir! A pull at his heartstrings and a flood of memories. After all, he and Lois used to be married during his Eddie Maine era back in 90’s. Thus, seeing Lois might trigger that part of his memory. Especially since it is all connected to his Eddie persona. And his Ned persona was the main reason why they tanked!
It is impossible that Lois won’t interact with Ned once she arrives at Port Charles. After all, he is the father of her daughter! In fact, General Hospital spoilers for the upcoming episodes reveal that Lois will confront Ned over something. It could very well have something to do with his personal life. And once the two of them start interacting sparks are sure to fly! But where would that leave Olivia? She is still very much married to him. Moreover, she is still trying to fix and save their relationship! It looks like we are about to see Los and Olivia go head to head to fight over Ned! Who would you be rooting for?
