General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, June 9, indicates that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will sound the alarm to Ava Jerome (Maura West). Although Ava will be wary of spying on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and reporting back to Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), there’ll be a steep price to pay if she doesn’t cooperate.

Austin will warn Ava about the deadly consequences they could both face for going against Mason’s instructions.

Since Mason is just the messenger, Austin will make it clear that the big boss isn’t afraid to take unhelpful people out.

In Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, he may sense that something’s troubling Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Sonny might push Nina to spill and remind his fiancée that she can tell him anything.

Nina may consider coming clean about turning Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in for insider trading.

However, someone will interrupt and pump the brakes on this conversation, so Nina won’t end up revealing her guilt.

Of course, Nina will still worry about all the drama with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who found out she blew the whistle just before he went flying into the pool.

It was a freak accident that led to Ned’s head injury and several minutes of unconsciousness, but Drew saved the day.

Alas, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) now claims that Drew assaulted Ned and put him in this terrible situation.

Tracy is fighting back since Drew blackmailed her just before Ned’s nosedive into the water, but Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) won’t know what to believe when he gets conflicting stories.

Drew will shut down Tracy’s accusations, but Chase will have plenty of questions and will leave Drew worried that he’s about to get arrested.

After Ned arrives at GH, it seems TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will assess his injuries.

Ned will be in good hands, but Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will still cry as she hopes for positive news about her husband.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will push for info as well, but it could take some time before Ned’s awake and alert.

It seems likely Ned will face some memory loss in the coming episodes, so Nina will get a lucky break if Ned’s unable to recall her guilt.

Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll let Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in on a secret.

It won’t be anything serious, but Liz will still kid around with Finn and promise she won’t tell anyone.

Finn will share a spark with Liz before dealing with suspicions about Tracy.

Since Tracy isn’t known for doing the right thing, Finn might have a hunch that she’s lying about Drew’s attack on Ned.

While Finn doubts Tracy’s story, Carly will push Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to support the idea she proposed to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

The plan is for Dex to keep working for Sonny while secretly working for Michael, who’ll give Dex guidance and help him steer Sonny down the right path – much like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would’ve done.

Carly will think it’s the best solution, so she might point out there’s more money in it for Dex if he has two bosses.

That said, Dex can’t spend any money if he’s dead – and he could indeed lose his life if Sonny gets updates on his deception.

Dex may have good intentions now, but he certainly didn’t when he started as a plant within Sonny’s organization for Michael’s takedown plot.

It’s a gamble for Dex to remain linked to Michael, so that may be why Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be against Carly’s proposal.

Dex would likely be better off cutting ties with Michael and being a model mob employee like he previously talked about.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will pressure Dex to choose her way instead, so stick with us to see what the future will hold.
