General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 28, reveals that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) sent Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) off to bond as well as bring them back some drinks.

At the Metro Court pool, Felicia spoke to Lucy alone and wondered why she really asked her to come there.

Lucy offered updates on Martin’s shady calls and how he refused to let her acknowledge his role in The Deceptor’s success.

Felicia agreed to put her PI hat on and investigate the mystery, but Lucy hoped that maybe it would all turn out to be a “big, fat nothing-burger.”

Over with Mac, he gave Martin some advice about Lucy since grudges could be an issue for her.

Mac suggested that as long as Martin and Lucy were equals, there wouldn’t be a problem.

Martin seemed nervous as he flashed back to a text from ex-wife number three about it being a mistake to ignore him.

At Deception, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was swamped since her assistant quit without warning, but Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) showed up to help despite having the day off.

After Maxie talked about not moving forward with plans to buy a house yet, she admitted it was because of Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and all the memories at the apartment.

Maxie eventually talked about how much she trusted Brook Lynn and then left her alone with a shared drive file of all their products.

Brook Lynn got on Maxie’s computer, so she was able to copy and paste all The Deceptor’s info onto a flash drive.

When Maxie returned, she was battled to find that Brook Lynn had left so abruptly.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) urged Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to change his plea and throw Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) under the bus.

Drew refused to do that, but Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) thought that Tracy had a point and began arguing with Drew about him taking all the blame.

Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) caught Sam and Drew’s shouting match when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) brought her in from seeing the new flowers outside.

When Scout asked why her parents were fighting, Drew explained they were just scared – though he ultimately suggested it was more like they were worried.

Drew explained that he had to go to prison because of a mistake he made at work, but he promised Scout would be the first person he saw when he got out.

Sam also assured Scout that she’d take her to visit Drew every weekend – and Dante hinted about quietly looking out for Drew in case he ran into any trouble.

Later, Brook Lynn delivered the stolen intel to Tracy, who mentioned something about “we” and tipped BLQ off to the fact that she was working with someone.

Of course, Tracy made it clear that it wasn’t Brook Lynn’s job to ask questions!

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen, she pushed Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to admit she thought her mom made a huge mistake not turning Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in.

Josslyn didn’t think calling each other out was their style – and although she couldn’t completely forgive Sonny, she was willing to let go of her anger like Carly and Michael did.

When Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) showed up, she had good news since Carly’s accounts would be unfrozen tomorrow.

Unfortunately, Diane also had bad news and passed along the paper confirming the fee Carly would have to pay for restitution. Carly reeled when she read that it was $5 million since that was her entire savings.

Josslyn offered to help with her trust fund and added that Sonny or Michael could pitch in. However, Diane nixed that plan since it wasn’t a good idea to drag Michael or Sonny into this.

After Diane left to finalize the paperwork, Carly told Josslyn that she’d just get a job and figure all this out.

“I am Carly Spencer and I will get every single thing back that I lost!” Carly declared on Wednesday’s GH episode.

At Sonny’s penthouse, he said “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) wasn’t going anywhere since he was about to make “Eddie” an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Sonny played up all his music industry connections and hinted that “Eddie” might be signed to a local record label – but only if he stayed in Port Charles.

In the park, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) had a couple officers with him as he quizzed Ava Jerome (Maura West) about Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) disappearance.

Ava had every reason to believe Avery had been kidnapped, so Chase wondered why she thought that.

Since Ava didn’t want to share the details, she covered by acting like they couldn’t just assume Avery wandered off since Sonny was her father.

After Ava called Sonny and alerted him to the situation, he rushed right over. Pilar (Brenda Barberena) admitted that she turned her back for two seconds and then Avery was gone.

Sonny put his team to work on the case despite Chase’s concerns about him getting involved. No matter how Chase felt about his business, Sonny was a parent first right now.

Ava pulled Sonny aside and told him there was something he needed to know, but Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) suddenly came strolling over with Avery and a balloon.

Austin said he found Avery by the pond during his run, so Avery admitted to chasing after a bunch of balloons and got gently scolded by her dad.

Sonny also warned Pilar that she could never let Avery out of her sight, so Pilar mentioned a weird phone call with the wrong caller ID that distracted her.

After Pilar said she was so sorry, Sonny told her it was all right and took Avery home with him. While Austin filled Chase in on what happened, Ava glared at him suspiciously.

Once they were alone, Ava slapped Austin and accused him of setting this whole thing up.

Back at Sonny’s penthouse, Nina received the good news about Avery being found and was relieved. “Eddie” insisted he never wanted the baggage of kids and feared that he’d go soft if he stuck around PC.

Nina hinted that being on a small local label would allow “Eddie” to play just for the love of music.

“Eddie” could do gigs in basements and living rooms – unlike achieving all the fame and glory of a bigger label elsewhere.

Nina acted like she was sure “Eddie” wasn’t interested in all the attention, but she was clearly trying to convince him to leave town.

Nevertheless, “Eddie’ decided to accept Sonny’s offer for now and shook on it with him later as Nina watched.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina will have to deal with some other hurdles as this storyline continues, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
