General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Is Out Of Town — And Carly Suggests He Stay Put, But Why?
General Hospital spoilers tease it appears as though Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has finally done the unthinkable. Not only did she blow up her own life, but she took Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) down with her with one swift move. When Carly bumped into Nina at Kelly’s and made her aware of how dire the circumstances were, Nina couldn’t help but wonder if she had made a truly tragic decision in telling the SEC what Carly and Drew were up to. If Drew is intercepted by the SEC before he can bring Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) home, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is likely to die. As that plagues her, she might not even notice as Carly starts making moves away from Drew — and toward her ex-husband.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Can’t Hold Off the SEC for Long
When Carly was brought in for questioning at the PCPD, Sonny wasn’t far behind her. As soon as Carly shared that the SEC was more interested in Drew than her, Sonny made sure to lead them astray and delay any chance of them getting their hands on Drew — buying them time to get Liesl back to Port Chuck to save Willow’s life.
Carly was grateful for Sonny’s favor, but she didn’t ask for it. Maybe Carly is still trying to convince herself there’s nothing good left in her ex’s heart, but deep down, she knows better. Still, Sonny can’t keep the SEC off of Drew’s tail forever. They’re going to catch up to him.
GH Spoilers Hint Drew Shouldn’t Come Home
When Drew spontaneously announced he was leaving to take on Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), all of the worst thoughts came to Carly’s mind. At the same time, his continued absence — on the heels of having been hiding out for weeks helping Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) — have given Carly a lot more free time.
With that, she keeps ending up back in her ex-husband’s orbit, and the more that family issues pull them closer together, the more Carly is finding she likes feeling needed again. When Carly catches up with Drew and tips him off that the SEC is looking for him, she may suggest letting someone else escort Liesl home as he ducks for cover for a while in Greenland. But is avoidance of the SEC the only reason she wants this cool cat to stay away?
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly’s Loyalty Lies With Sonny
It seems that Carly may finally be softening towards Sonny — a thaw we all knew was coming sooner or later. As much as we would love to see a good old-fashioned reunion, some fans can’t help but feel bad for Nina. If Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) plan goes bust and this family mends fences, Nina could find herself iced out rather quickly — just in time for them to find out she’s the reason they’re in this mess to begin with. When Nina realizes Drew never would have had to stay away if she hadn’t ratted him out to the SEC — and that she practically pushed Sonny and Carly back together — it’s going to be tough for her to reconcile the self-destruction she caused in the name of vengeance.
