General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Phony SEC Tip Confession – Lies to Save Nina’s Future with Sonny & Willow?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could get help from a surprising source once the walls close in. During the week of May 8-12, Nina’s guilt over this whole SEC situation will grow and leave her increasingly worried that she’ll lose everything that matters to her.
Now that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is knocking on death’s door, it looks like she’ll become a bit more receptive to bonding with Nina in what could be her final moments.
Willow’s perspective may change and lead to her opening her heart to Nina just a crack.
Of course, Willow will survive her leukemia battle after Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) comes home and the bone marrow transplant presumably goes well.
That’ll give Willow and Nina a chance at a relationship, so Nina certainly won’t want to lose that.
Likewise, Nina won’t want to lose Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the love they share.
Ava can see how happy Sonny and Nina make each other, so she knows how much is at stake.
We can’t help but notice how involved Ava’s been in every step of this storyline.
Ava initially pushed Nina to make the SEC call herself and turn in Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) as well as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
However, Ava later insisted she was just using reverse psychology on Nina and didn’t actually want her to go through wit it.
Now Ava’s helping Nina handle her guilt by suggesting that Drew can be a hero and potentially still deserve to go to prison for insider trading.
It’s interesting that Ava has been Nina’s confidant on this throughout the entire ordeal.
Since Ava is so close to this story, what if she ultimately lies and claims she was behind the SEC tip?
GH spoilers hint that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will work together to search for more SEC news in the coming episodes.
Tracy will come up with a theory, so she could hurl an accusation at Nina eventually.
What if just before Nina’s about to admit it’s true, Ava pipes up that she notified the SEC instead?
Ava might blame her old feud with Carly, which clearly hasn’t changed all that much based on how rude Carly was to her at Kelly’s.
Naturally, Ava would be risking a lot since she’s been on better terms with Sonny lately in terms of co-parenting Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
If Ava ruins all that progress, it could make spending time with Avery more difficult again.
Even so, Ava may not think about that if she blurts out that she’s behind the SEC tip.
Perhaps Ava will just react impulsively and try to protect Nina’s future with Sonny along with Willow.
That could eventually lead to Nina confessing to spare Ava all the drama since she doesn’t deserve it.
Nina’s the one who needs to face the music, so that may be what she does in the end.
General Hospital spoilers say this insider trading fiasco could become an even bigger mess soon, so stay tuned for updates on Ava’s potential deception.
