General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Betrays Carly – Hides Nina’s Secret?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will deal with some new suspicions during the week of May 22-26, so Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might raise some red flags.

Although Drew initially thought Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) must’ve been the one who contacted the SEC, he may soon realize Nina’s responsible for the anonymous tip instead.

What happens if Drew uncovers Nina’s secret and confronts her?

Nina could easily turn on the waterworks and beg Drew to keep his mouth shut – especially if she’s made more progress with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) by then.

Perhaps Nina will argue that she acted without thinking and regretted it soon after, especially once she learned it almost jeopardized Drew’s search for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

Nina may admit she was wrong and express how terrified she is that it’ll be the last straw with Willow.

It could lead to Nina pouring her heart out and appealing to Drew as a parent of his own beloved daughter, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).

Nina may try to get Drew to understand her perspective and plead with him to avoid causing another major blowup with Carly.

All Willow wants is for Nina and Carly to stop fighting, so Drew could ruin any chance of peace if he exposes Nina’s actions.

Drew managed to forgive Carly when she lied about the DNA results and repeatedly sabotaged his search for Willow’s biological parents.

Maybe it’s time for GH writers to offer the flip side of that situation and give Drew a hurtful secret – one that Carly may or may not be able to forgive him for.

Despite everything that’s happened, Drew knows Nina desperately wants to be part of Willow’s life and family.

Since Drew has a tender heart deep down, could he take pity on Nina and agree to keep quiet about her SEC tipoff?

After all, let’s not lose sight of the fact that Carly and Drew DID commit a crime!

It’s certainly not a criminal offense to report someone else’s illegal behavior, so Nina was technically doing the right thing with the wrong motives.

Regardless, Drew has seemingly had moments of sympathy for Nina along the way.

If Drew has compassion in this case and keeps Nina’s role in the SEC drama under wraps, how will Carly feel about that?

Carly may consider it a serious betrayal and feel like Drew’s siding with the enemy.

Drew might contend that he was protecting the peace and trying to preserve Willow’s last chance to bond with her bio mom, but Carly may lash out anyway.

It’d be an interesting twist if Drew uncovered Nina’s secret and kept Carly out of the loop. It would also lead to some chaos once Carly eventually found out the truth anyway.
