General Hospital Spoilers: Mason Arrested for Attempt on Ava’s Life – Austin Pays the Price?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the Metro Court will serve as the backdrop for a stunning crime during the week of July 10-14. A shot will be fired there, so we have to consider who’ll be to blame and who the victim will be.
Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has repeatedly warned Ava Jerome (Maura West) about the people he works for and how merciless they are.
Of course, this is quickly becoming a case where they need to show us rather than just tell us!
It’s one thing for Austin to insist the situation is serious and potentially fatal if Ava doesn’t give them the Pikeman info they want.
It’s quite another to see some risky consequences play out that prove Austin was right.
After this drama erupts at the Metro Court, someone will struggle to survive at GH. That person will eventually be rushed to surgery while an arrest is made.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will get some horrifying news around this time, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) seems to be safe based on the surrounding spoilers.
That perhaps points to Ava being the one who lands in trouble instead – though she may or may not be the one who actually gets injured.
It’s easy to imagine Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) going after Ava for being uncooperative, but could Austin dive in front of Ava to save her?
Ava already had her big hospital crisis back when “The Hook” was on the loose.
It seems repetitive to do a similar one for Ava now, so they might give Austin a heroic moment.
Austin also got hooked, but his injuries turned out to be far less serious. That wasn’t a life-threatening ordeal in the end, but this one could be!
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has a strong emotional reaction coming up, so she may be relieved once she gets updates on all this.
Ava’s close call could be a reminder of how precious life is and leave Trina grateful that Austin was there to protect her close friend.
General Hospital spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will ultimately make an arrest, so will Mason get hauled off in handcuffs?
That could lead to someone else showing up in Port Charles to prove the boss means business – maybe even the boss herself!
