General Hospital spoilers hint fans are eagerly awaiting to see if Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will follow through with his deceitful plan to sue the WSB over a necklace that never really belonged to him. Cody pretended her was the son of Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia), and now he’s jumped into a scheme with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to see to it that he is afforded damages for the WSB’s botched plan that left him without it after Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) got his way.
Despite his questionable motives, some viewers are cheering on Cody to go through with this scheme. However, many are convinced that it will inevitably backfire and result in Cody being exposed as a fraud — which is likely. Little does Scott know, he’s getting into business with a con man. This can’t end well.
General Hospital Spoilers — Scott Baldwin Is Going In Blind
General Hospital spoilers show Scott has the knowledge and expertise to back up any legal case he takes on. But what makes this prediction even more compelling is Scott’s personal motivation, since his daughter — Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder) — also stands to benefit from it. With Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) refusing to speak to him, Scott suddenly has an abundance of time to devote to the cause. He’s going to throw all he’s got at this case, and he thinks it’s a done deal already. Scott truly doesn’t see any way the WSB is going to get around this one. Boy does he have another thing coming.
GH Spoilers – Reveal Dante Falconeri Pushes Cody to Come Clean
When Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) learns that Cody is pursuing a lawsuit against the WSB, he’s going to question whether his childhood pal has completely lost his marbles. Has Cody really thought this through? How can he expect to be awarded anything without proof that he has a legitimate claim to the necklace?
From the sounds of it, that DNA test that proved Mac Scorpio (John York) was his father is going to come back to bite him. Dante is trying to spare him the humiliation and give him the chance to hold onto some dignity by telling Mac himself and letting the truth come out on his own terms, but once again, Cody is blinded by the temptation of striking it rich.
General Hospital Spoilers — The WSB Acts Fast
Dante may not have to be as concerned about Cody as he thinks. It’s Scott who is the target this time around. Without Scott, Cody doesn’t stand a chance at getting this case through the courts, and he won’t have the money to pay another attorney — not that one would dare touch the case after what happens next. Scott is going to pay dearly for trying to go up against the WSB.
The rumor mill is churning about Kin Shriner’s confirmed departure from the show. He told Soap Opera Digest last month that his contract has not been renewed. Is this the end of the line for Scotty, and will his final act really be his final act? The WSB could take him out as a means of sending a message — that no one goes up against them and gets away with it.
