Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Isn’t On Good Terms With All Of Kody’s Other Kids
In the Brown family — there’s a lot to keep up with. Many fans have been following Kody Brown and his wives — Robyn, Meri, Janelle, and Christine as well as their 18 combined children since 2010. We’ve been through it all, including Meri’s catfishing scandal, Christine’s decision to leave Kody, and several big family moves. As those who watch the show know, Robyn entered the family later than the other three wives, and she and Kody spiritually wed in 2010.
Robyn has frequently spoken about joining the family, including on the hit TLC series. She also boasts a big following on social media and has more than 230,000 followers on Instagram alone. On the social media platform, Robyn posts many photos of her children and some of her sister wives’ children. In 2019, she shared a photo of Kody and Meri’s only daughter, Mariah Brown, and her fiancé. “Our daughter @mariahbrwn is engaged to her true love @audreykriss! I am so excited for them. What a sweet couple!” she gushed in the caption, adding a few hashtags like “true love” and “they are so cute together.”
In 2018, Robyn used a re-post app to share a photo of Christine and her daughters Gwendlyn and Ysabel Brown, who were sporting necklaces from her business — My Sister Wife’s Closet. “Loving it ladies!” she wrote in the caption. Interestingly enough, she doesn’t seem to be on the best terms with Gwendlyn. Well, at least according to Gwendlyn, she isn’t.
Gwendlyn Brown isn’t the biggest fan of Robyn Brown
Robyn Brown may be close with some of her sister wives’ kids — but it’s safe to say that Christine Brown’s daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, isn’t one of them. Gwendlyn has been sharing her thoughts on almost every topic on her YouTube show “My Reaction.” On the series, she watches an episode of “Sister Wives” and then gives her honest opinion on what transpired in the episode. After Gwendlyn watched the 17th episode of season 17, she didn’t hold much back regarding her feelings for Robyn. “I feel less about Robyn from watching this, but I feel like that’s not very fair from me because I don’t really like her as a person,” Gwendlyn confessed in the video. “So it’s probably not a completely valid response. But watching her makes me like her less, for sure.”
Keeping with the same theme, Gwendlyn also gave her opinion on her mother’s split from her dad, Kody Brown. “I was like, ‘You’re leaving? Good for you!’ She told me she was moving and divorcing my father all at the same time, so I was all hype for her,” she revealed, adding that she didn’t really “love” the relationship that Robyn and Kody shared. In the same episode, Gwendlyn made another bombshell claim. “With Robyn, she’s made it very clear that she no longer sees herself as part of the family. I’m not sure if she’ll allow that to happen with her kids.” Ouch!
Paedon Brown called his relationship with Robyn Brown ‘strange and weird’
As most of us can see, Gwendlyn Brown isn’t afraid to call out Robyn or critique her father’s relationship with Robyn’s children. In another YouTube recap video, the reality star got brutally honest about how much it hurts her to see her dad, Kody Brown, have a close relationship with Robyn’s kids — which is something she says she didn’t have growing up. “It’s terrible that I’m making this about myself, but it hurts so much to see him be a good father to others when I didn’t really get that much. I know I should be happy for them, and I am,” she confessed to viewers. “I’m so happy they have a good father, or what looks like to be a good father and an active father. But I just didn’t get that, and I don’t remember that.”
In an interview with The U.S. Sun, Christine’s son, Paedon Brown, called his relationship with Robyn “strange and weird.” He added, “There are honestly so many reasons for that.” Like Gwendlyn, Paedon pointed out that he saw his father have a better relationship with Robyn’s kids so he would act “rude” toward them. “She didn’t like me being rude to her kids,” Paedon noted. On the bright side, Paedon revealed that he is now closer with Robyn’s kids, Dayton and Aurora, but his relationship with Robyn’s daughter, Breanna, “is not good at all.” Such a complicated family dynamic!
