Sister Wives: Why Kody May Be Upset With David’s Co-Parenting
With Christine Brown moving on, it is most likely that Kody Brown of Sister Wives may be upset he isn't raising his daughter Truely close to him.
Over the last few months, Christine Brown has been posting a lot about her daughter Truely Brown, and this move could be angering Sister Wives star and Christine’s ex, Kody Brown. While the patriarch hasn’t always been the best father figure, Truely’s absences could be putting a strain on Kody’s life. The father of 18 has prided himself on his polygamous family for years but isn’t adjusting well to co-parenting after his divorce.
Christine and Kody ended their 20-year marriage back in November 2021. For years, Sister Wives chronicled their failing relationships as Kody often put more effort into his youngest wife, Robyn Brown. The jealousy became too much for Christine, who decided to call it quits after Kody started ignoring his children. During the pandemic, Kody refused to fly to New Jersey to be by Ysabel Brown’s side during her spinal surgery. It became apparent that Kody was trying his best to distance himself from family members who didn’t follow all of his rules.
Does Kody Brown See His Daughter Truely?

The optics don’t look good for Kody, as the Sister Wives star hasn’t posted an update for months. The last time Kody gave an update was during the latest season when Christine revealed she would be taking their daughter out of state and back to Utah. Kody wasn’t thrilled with the arrangement, but the decision was made for Truely to come back twice a month to stay with her father and Robyn. Kody made it clear that he didn’t want the law to become involved, mainly because he didn’t feel he would get a fair shake.
Why David Woolley May Be A Better Father Figure For Truely

Christine’s been posting about her fiancé David Woolley, especially his interactions with her youngest daughter, Truely. A recent post from Christine’s Instagram showed her gushing about David stepping in and helping his soon-to-be step-daughter. Truely was stuck on a high hill while the family was hiking. Without prolonging her fear, David jumped into action and helped guide Truely down safely. David also has children with whom he is extremely close. It’s possible that David’s friendly approach could be what just what Truely needs to feel loved.
From Kody’s recent angry outbursts during the last season of Sister Wives, it’s a fair assumption he won’t like the idea of being replaced. However, it looks like Kody has become too comfortable in pretending he is a martyr and ignoring his children. Kody’s lack of inclusivity has only pushed his children away even more, leaving them to look for a father figure elsewhere.
