General Hospital Update: Friday, August 18 – Tragic Confession, Ex Grants Wish and Phone Call Changes Everything
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, August 18, indicates that “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will have a bone to pick with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) since she pushed Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to have him thrown in a mental institution.
Tracy will still be drunk off the Mai Tais that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) encouraged her to have, so she’ll be even louder and more forceful than usual.
However, “Eddie” will give as good as he gets and make it clear that he won’t let anyone throw him in the looney bin.
Meanwhile, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will push Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) to be honest about his condition, so Gregory will confess that he was diagnosed with ALS.
It’ll be hard for Finn to hear this devastating news, but he’ll know that supporting Gregory is the most important thing right now.
At Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Brooke Anne Smith) apartment, she’ll get an earful from Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Kristina is already annoyed over being left out of the sushi party, but she’ll be even more irritated when she learns Molly is using a surrogate who isn’t her.
That won’t make sense to Kristina since she was willing to step up for free, but Molly will feel like letting Kristina carry the baby would only end in disaster.
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have good reasons to worry.
Between all the drama happening with her sisters and Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) failed plan to get committed to Ferncliff, Sam may fear that even more catastrophes are on the horizon.
Other GH spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will put Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on the spot when he asks if she trusts him.
Anna may be torn over how to answer that, particularly after she receives some disturbing updates from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Since we know Dante will call someone and reveal there’s something they should know, Anna might be the one who gets that call.
Perhaps Dante will bring Anna up to speed on Valentin’s vehicle not being on the ELQ security footage.
That’s a problem since Valentin used an ELQ emergency to explain his absence the night the blaze broke out.
It sounds like Valentin is keeping secrets from Anna, so it’s just a matter of how many and why he’s hiding the real story.
Anna will be rattled over Dante’s information, so this could affect her view of Valentin as her suspicions about him grow.
Over with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she’ll look peeved over someone showing up and seemingly seeking a favor.
If Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is involved here, it’s easy to see how she might rile Carly up with a request.
Nevertheless, it’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who’ll be behind a far more significant favor.
Sonny is on the verge of granting Carly’s wish, which could involve a sneaky visit to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Drew isn’t supposed to have visitors at the moment, but Sonny will apparently find a way to work around that and make sure Carly sees Drew at Pentonville.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will be alarmed over a growing threat to Drew – one that could leave him seriously injured or worse!
