Why ‘Sister Wives’ Fans Think Meri Brown’s B&B Is Haunted
Are there really ghosts in Meri Brown‘s Utah-based bed and breakfast?
That’s definitely one rumor going around about the Sister Wives star these days. Although no one can say without a shadow of a doubt that the place is haunted, it’s something many visitors have said. To push things a bit further, Meri Brown’s decorating definitely hasn’t helped ease the rumors.
But who exactly are the spirits? And how does Meri’s decorating scheme contribute to the gossip? Keep reading to learn more.
Rumor has it that Meri Brown’s inn is riddled with spirits
The Sun shares that Meri Brown reportedly moved into her bed and breakfast back in April. After the split with Kody Brown, it didn’t make much sense for her to live in Flagstaff and run her business in Utah.
Allegedly, few people have seen Meri since she made the move though. But that doesn’t mean her inn is deserted. In fact, paranormal entities are rumored to walk the halls of the home.
According to The Sun, visitors have felt otherworldly presences at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn in Parowan, Utah.
“Guests have told Meri and the manager, Jenn, that the inn was haunted,” a source reportedly told the publication. “Like, they would hear spooky noises and claim that ghosts are living there. It’s not like something bad would happen – it’s just a freaky thing and coincidence that dead people are on the wall.”
The Sun shares that Meri Brown has decorated the inn with an eery “Wall of the Dead.” In other words, her ancestors’ photos hang around the home. On one wall in particular, Meri has featured her late mother Bonnie, her grandmother Joyce, her great-grandmother Lizzie for whom the bed and breakfast was named, and her great-great-grandmother Sarah.
So who are the ghosts that haunt the inn?
No one seems to know for sure which spirits allegedly inhabit the bed and breakfast. It would make sense that if there are any ghosts on the property, they would be Meri Brown’s ancestors. But no one can really say for certain.
In one episode of Sister Wives, Meri did address the rumors about the paranormal entities on the property.
“So Vicki says that there is a ghost that hangs out in this room. And she loves sitting in this corner, right here,” Meri said, referencing a story her friend Vicki told her.
Janelle Brown also reportedly avoids the bed and breakfast, as she claims she is not a big fan of ghosts. In one Sister Wives episode, Janelle and Kody did opt to stay a night in Lizzie’s Heritage Inn. Thankfully, Janelle reported that they didn’t see any spirits during their stay.
