The mystical town of Port Charles has become embroiled in yet another mystery on General Hospital. In a dramatic episode this week, an arcane assassin open-fired at the Metro Court pool. While the intended target of the shooting is yet to be ascertained, we know an innocent bystander took a hit! It was none other than Curtis Ashford. And while Curtis’ life hangs in the balance, the PCPD is investigating who could be behind the violent incident! Well, we don’t know if they have the answer yet, but we might be on to something! But First, Who Was The Target?
After the incident, Dante was quick to inform Sonny Corinthos and Anna Devane that one of them could have been the intended target of the shooter on General Hospital. Hmm, that does make sense. Because, well, let’s face it, every person who is connected with the underworld has it out for Sonny. There has already been one attack on him at his warehouse. Moreover, considering that the first attack failed, a second do-over attack is quite likely!
As for Anna, well, she is an ex-double agent on General Hospital! She certainly has earned her fair share of enemies over the decades! So, one of them now wanting revenge, especially now that Anna got the boot from the WSB, makes total sense! Even as we speak, many names pop into our heads, Alex, Cassandra, or even better, Olivia Jerome! Now, that’s one fierce and formidable baddie who really needs a storyline! Especially with Victor gone, GH can do well with a villain of her caliber! Plus, she has been name dropped quite a few times, so might as well bring her back.
The Big Villain Returns On General Hospital
Olivia Jerome seems like a wonderful choice because not only does she have bones to pick with Anna, she even has scores to settle with Sonny! So, she fits the bill just fine with either Anna being the target or Sonny! That being said, there is another villain who is more likely to be responsible for the shooting on General Hospital. The very wicked but extremely entertaining Cyrus Renault! And he has already made his appearance back on the soap! So if he is back, there has to be an agenda behind it! The makers wouldn’t bring him back just to distribute empty bibles housing shanks! Would they now?
So in the most recent episodes of General Hospital, Cyrus offered Drew to join his Religious group in prison. He then went on to hand him a bible that contained a shank inside it! Thus, indicating that danger lies ahead! But we wonder if Cyrus intends trouble only behind the prison bars! Perhaps not! Honestly, it’s a really hard sell that Cyrus has reformed. His demeanor is not justifying his words! It feels like Cyrus is playing a long game behind the garb of being reformed. Probably to deflect blame and attention! We know he has a history of trying to take down Sonny. Who is to say he isn’t doing it again?
In fact, considering that Olivia also is in Pentonville, we wouldn’t be surprised if the two are eventually revealed to be in cahoots! Oh, wait! Is that why they put Drew in there?
