GH Spoilers Wednesday, July 19: Shocking Statements, Damage Control, Stern Warnings
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, July 19 tease shocking statements, damage control and stern warnings. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) makes a shocking statement, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) does damage control, and Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) delivers a stern warning.
General Hospital Spoilers: Shocking Statements
As Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) questions Spencer at GH, he makes a shocking statement-he tells her Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) should run as far away from him as she possibly can! That sounds more like something Portia would tell her daughter to do than for Spencer to say, so he must be blaming himself for something possibly hurtful. That being said, he has been so preoccupied with helping Esmé raise his little brother, Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) it’s taken up all his time.
It would be easy to guess that he wants Trina to put some distance between the two of them because he can no longer give her what she needs and wants. It might have nothing to do with him not wanting to, it’s just the way it is.
GH Spoilers: Marcus Taggert Checks In On Trina Robinson
Meanwhile, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) checks in on Trina, and it looks like they’re having a meal together. Obviously, the topic of discussion is Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and his recovery after taking a bullet at the Metro Court Pool. Trina tells Taggert that they’re struggling with his heartbeat, which is not a real good thing to be struggling with. Curtis’ heart had stopped after doctors got the bullet out of him, although they were able to resuscitate and stabilize him-it had also stopped poolside. The whole combined Ashford-Robinson family is worried about Curtis’ recovery since he still hasn’t regained consciousness.
General Hospital Spoilers: Damage Control
At the Metro Court Pool, Sasha tries to do damage control as she tells Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) there’s no need to prepare when you’ve got nothing to hide. As far as Sasha is concerned there’s nothing to hide of prepare for since Logan’s Department Store dropped the shoplifting charges. Gladys doesn’t really look so convinced, but she was in on everything in conspiracy with Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).
Gladys doesn’t want Sasha to be released from her guardianship because she doesn’t want to lose access to her money. The psychiatrist over her guardianship release is her gambling buddy, so it’s a win-win for Gladys but a losing game for Sasha.
GH Spoilers: Cody Bell Remains Concerned
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is also at the pool and he remains concerned over what’s going on with Sasha and Gladys-he knows Gladys has something going on. He also can tell that something’s wrong with Sasha, even though she denies it-she seems just a little too giddy, and he’s not the only one who’s noticed it. It could be Sasha who comes over and talks although it could be someone else-Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is watching him closely; he asks, “won’t that just make things worse”? Cody wants to help his friend but he’s also in a bind because of Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) involvement.
General Hospital Spoilers: Molly Lansing-Davis Opens Up To Sam McCall
Sam’s doing all kinds of mediation with her two younger sisters being at odds, but Molly Lansing-Davis (Holiday Mia Kriegel) will open up to her. She asks is that what’s making her so upset-after finding out from their mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) offered surrogacy. Molly had taken Kristina’s offer as an insult, because she has no viable eggs or able to carry a baby.
She felt like Kristina was making her and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) baby problems all about herself. Kristina didn’t feel that way, she said it was all about her trying to help.
GH Spoilers: Stern Warnings
At The Invader, Esmé delivers a stern warning to Alexis when she tells her not to publish that story. Apparently Esmé fears unwanted consequences will come out of whatever the particular story is. Alexis may be doing a story on Heather Webber (Alley Mills) of some sort and Esmé doesn’t want to poke the bear. Esmé is quite adamant that said story should not reach the public.
General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina Corinthos-Davis Gets Her Feelings Out
In the meantime, Kristina is at her father’s house, telling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that her foundations are being ripped out from under her. Kristina is very hurt that Molly didn’t accept her generous offer and instead slung accusations at her. Sonny knows that there’s some trouble between the girls because Alexis had warned him about it.
Alexis had wanted Sonny to talk Kristina out of certain things, and while he may not do that he will certainly listen. Kristina tends to listen to her dad more than she does her mother.
