Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Attends Gwendlyn’s Wedding Despite Tense Relationship

” it’s been within the family and hoped that they can get to a place of “healing.” One Instagram user threw some shade Kody’s way by saying, “He got to see real love in Christine,” referring to her current relationship with David.

Things have been tense between Kody and Gwendlyn for quite a while now. Through her YouTube channel, in which she gives her very honest opinions on past episodes of Sister Wives, Gwen hasn’t shied away from criticizing Kody. At one point, she claimed her father favors his sons more than his daughters. She believes Kody wasn’t a good father to his older children, and even called him a misogynist.

Gwen previously said she hoped the Brown family would be able to come to her and Beatriz’s big day. That one photo of Kody in the background is the only info there is about his involvement. It’s unclear if he walked her down the aisle, or if Gwen even wanted this particular tradition in the first place. After everything she’s been through over the years, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if she didn’t want to see Kody at the wedding. But the fact that he was there shows that she might be opening the door, even if just a little bit, to a possible reconciliation in the future.
