General Hospital Spoilers: Trina & Dex Grow Closer – Sends Spencer & Josslyn Over the Edge?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has been nothing but kind and supportive to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) lately. Although Trina knows Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) handled her breakup with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) horribly, she doesn’t hold it against Dex or her BFF since she knows love is complicated.

Trina has certainly found that to be true when it comes to dating Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), who brings drama to her life daily.

Spencer and Trina have managed to ride the waves so far, but more obstacles are coming that’ll inevitably shake up their world.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has already been trying to get inside Spencer’s head about him being a burden for Trina.

As far as Portia’s concerned, Spencer should let go and allow Trina to find happiness without him.

Of course, Trina herself has gotten fed up with Spencer at times over his constant feud with Dex.

It’s frustrating for Trina since she can see Dex consistently making an effort, but Spencer always seems to backslide and instigate more conflict.

However, Trina seems to enjoy Dex’s company and recently shared some nice moments with him in the park along with Josslyn.

It turns out Trina has some scenes coming up alone with Dex that’ll have her growing closer to him, too.

During the week of July 31-August 4, GH spoilers say Trina will confide in Dex, so she might open up about Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) paralysis and her fear that he’s going to shut himself off from the rest of the world – including her.

Dex may share some stories from when he was in the military about buddies who faced similar injuries.

It’d be a good way for Dex to open up as well and relate to feeling helpless when someone you care about is hurting.

Dex might also offer some hope since he surely had military friends who found a way to overcome life-changing ordeals and find a new path forward.

Since Trina and Dex will do some bonding, is there a chance they might be paired up at some point?

There’s no denying that a Dex and Trina romance would shake things up in Port Charles.

Dex only has eyes for Josslyn at the moment, but that could change sooner or later.

It’s perhaps wise for the show to keep building Trina and Dex’s friendship in case it ever becomes more.

Can you imagine Spencer’s reaction if Trina got together with Dex?! It’s clear that Dex is the absolute last person Spencer would ever want involved with Trina romantically.

Nevertheless, anything can happen if Spencer ultimately pushes Trina away or does something that hurts her so badly that she turns elsewhere for comfort.

If the show ever decides to try Trina and Dex as a romantic option, that could blow up Trina’s relationship with Josslyn as well.

There’d be a lot of dramatic potential in taking the story in that direction.
