Drew Clashes With Cyrus At Pentonville
When the judge threw out Drew’s plea bargain and sentenced him to three years at Pentonville, it hit Drew and Carly like a train. However, there was one person in General Hospital who was very pleased by the news! Cyrus Renault! He even gave Drew a special welcome when Drew first arrived at Pentonville. Later, he approached Drew at the prison and offered him a place in his religious group. Cyrus still insists that he is now a reformed man and has found God!
Interestingly, he even gifted Drew a bible on General Hospital. However, when Drew opened it, there was a gun inside it! Hence, indicating that some sort of danger awaits Drew ahead. However, it also hints that Cyrus might not be what he is claiming to be. After all, why would a reformed man go around handing prisoners weapons? Suspecting the same, Drew cornered Cyrus and demanded to know the truth. Unfortunately, Cyrus did not spill any details to him. But just because the prison veteran is choosing silence does not mean a storm is not building under the surface!
Drew Exposes An Undercover Mob, Wins His Freedom On General Hospital
If General Hospital has brought back Jeff Kober to reprise Cyrus once again, there has to be something coming up! There is no way his sole purpose is to just distribute prison shanks and make twisted statements! Cyrus is up to something, and Drew is about to find out, one way or the other! Perhaps that is why they have been put in each other’s orbits! It’s interesting that the tragic Metro Court shooting happened around the same time that Cyrus came back to the screen!
What if Cyrus is behind it all on General Hospital? We know he has a bone to pick with Sonny! Maybe he isn’t as re formed as he claims to be and has just been biding his time waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike! Moreover, this could just be the beginning of a new reign of terror! After all, if he can orchestrate one shoot-out from behind bars, what would stop him from pulling a couple more? Well, that’s where Drew comes into play! He has the training, intellect, and instinct to go after Cyrus and figure out what he is really up to.
For all we know, Cyrus could be doing a lot more than having targets shot at! From illegal weapon trade to drugs, possibilities are endless! If Drew manages to uncover these activities and pull the plug on it, he might just win his hero status back!
