General Hospital Update: Wednesday, August 2 – Ex’s Proposal, Mysterious Investigation and Damaged Company

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 2, indicates that Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) will push for peace when a fight breaks out. “Eddie Quartermaine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) might get into an argument with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) or someone else he was previously close to.

Regardless, Leo will step up and manage to settle everyone down. It could lead to a compromise and strengthen the bond “Eddie” feels with Leo – even though he doesn’t have his memories back yet.

At GH, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will have a whole new outlook after nearly losing his life.

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will race to his brother’s side at the hospital, where Cyrus will suddenly announce that he wants to give all his money away.

While Cyrus seeks Martin’s help with that task, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show up at Kelly’s to see Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Carly will question how Sonny discovered that she was the new owner, but Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could both be sources of info here.

Whatever the case, the main thing is Sonny will want to deliver an enticing proposal.

Sonny might have some plan to ease the financial burden for Carly, but she may point out that Diane said it wasn’t a good idea to accept his help.

Besides, Carly doesn’t want to rely on her ex-husband and will probably feel like she’s got her finances under control as long as she’s got Kelly’s to support her.

Back at GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will whip out his phone and show Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) a pic.

Chase may show off a photo of Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall) and seek info about his connections before his body was found in the alley.

Since Austin won’t want to tie himself to any shady activities, he may play dumb for the most part and act like Gordon was just an average patient.

At Deception, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will put her foot down when Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) harasses her at work and tries to get more help with her scheme.

Fortunately, Brook Lynn will stand up to Tracy and refuse to take any more gambles just because “Granny” says so!

There’ll be more important things to worry about as far as Brook Lynn’s concerned – like Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) well-being and the damage her heartbreaking spectacle did to their brand.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be in charge of trying to clean up Deception’s image in the aftermath of Sasha’s ordeal, which won’t be an easy task.

As Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) remain in Chechnya, they’ll face some bickering at the hotel.

There’ll be a situation where Kevin’s disdain is threatening to stand in the way of Laura’s safety, so Valentin will help him see the light.

Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Laura will give Valentin some good advice, so she may convince him to contact Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and get updates on the latest news from home.
