General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, August 9 – Curtis Plans to Leave PC – Carly’s Generous Offer – Alexis’ Enraging Discovery
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 9, reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will announce a decision that thrills Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). It looks like Trina will decide to move back home, so Portia will throw her arms around her daughter and insist this is the best news she’s had in a long time.
At GH, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will apparently contemplate leaving Port Charles, so he may not see the point in going to a rehabilitation facility if his legs are never going to work again.
Since Curtis feels helpless now, he won’t want to stick around and be a burden to the people he cares about.
However, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) won’t think it’s the right time to leave town since Curtis needs to focus on his recovery and lean on his loved ones.
We’ll see Marshall give Curtis a pep talk and try to convince him to accept the help he needs.
Speaking of help, it seems Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will offer some to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in his latest investigation, but he’ll admit they have more questions than answers so far.
Of course, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been trying to answer those questions by forcing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to spill what he knows.
Anna learned some info about Pikeman’s connecti on to the WSB, but she still feels like there’s a piece missing and will become increasingly determined to find out what it is.
Next, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will make Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) a generous offer, but Olivia will struggle to understand why after she way she treated her.
Olivia will apologize for taking her anger over the “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) situation out on Carly, but Carly will understand that she’s been dealing with a lot of tough emotions.
That’s especially true now that Ned has disappeared from the Quartermaine mansion, so Olivia will need some support.
Carly will want to step up in any way she can, so Olivia will appreciate the gesture.
As Carly and Olivia think back on their friendship, they’ll no doubt agree that their bond is unbreakable – even if they sometimes squabble or lash out when it’s not deserved.
It sounds like Olivia and Carly will patch things up, but Olivia will also have to admit she’s offered to plan Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wedding.
Olivia’s updates should throw Carly for a loop, but Carly may insist it’s fine and suggest she’s got bigger things to worry about.
Meanwhile, Sonny and Nina will discuss wedding plans as well, so that’ll lead to Sonny urging Nina to seek someone out.
Nina may go looking for Olivia and find her with Carly, so that could lead to another tense interaction all around.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will make a discovery at The Invader, so she’ll shout about how mad it makes her.
Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will stand next to Alexis as they check out something on her computer screen, so there may be some sort of leak about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) or another news story that riles her up.
