Will Sister Wives Season 18 finally be the year Robyn Brown shows her true colors?
Since Season 1, many viewers have thought that Robyn often resorts to sneaky and deceitful tactics to get her own way. Now that all the other wives are gone, Robyn is definitely exploring new territory. She finally has Kody Brown to herself and doesn’t have to share him with three other wives or his many other children.
The Season 18 premiere is just under two weeks away and many fans still have questions. Will Robyn Brown show her true colors this year? Or will there be more sneaky plans and underhandedness?
How will Robyn Brown behave in Season 18?
It’s no secret that Sister Wives fans don’t care for Robyn. But she really seems to be heading toward a boiling point.
“Robyn has to show her cards,” a Redditor titled their post this week. “The upcoming season(s) will reveal Robyn’s hand. Specifically, after the wives leave, will she actively pursue new wives? If she truly wants to live ‘the plural marriage lifestyle,’ that’s exactly what she will do. Even if Kody gives her pushback on it, she should insist on getting new wives, if she truly believes the faith she preaches.”
The OP went on to say that if Robyn won’t encourage Kody to get more wives, she’s admitting that she didn’t actually want more sister wives. She just wanted Kody to herself.
The Redditor also questioned whether or not Robyn would open her home to Kody’s other children and grandchildren or if she would continue to isolate him from the rest of the family. Either way, it seems like TLC is setting Robyn Brown up to fail here.
Immediately, other Reddit users chimed in and offered their own thoughts. Many believed that Robyn would try to deflect blame.
“I think at some point she will say ‘this has been so hurtful to me and Kody, watching our family be ripped apart, we WISH we could take more wives but the OG3 hurt us so much and we can’t bring ourselves to try again.’ Or, ‘I want to take more wives so bad but Kody is so traumatized from his first wives that he can’t/won’t do it.’ So she can blame them for the fact that her and kody will be monogamous until they die,” another user offered.
Fans continue to sour on Kody Brown’s fourth wife
Although Robyn Brown engages in a lot of unsavory behavior onscreen, plenty of fans have issues with her real-life actions too. Her first husband and the father of her oldest children is currently fighting cancer. Reportedly, Robyn hasn’t shared that information with her children.
Fans definitely didn’t react well to that news. However, this is still a developing situation and it will be quite some time before that ever makes it onscreen, if TLC chooses to include it at all.
Either way, it’s not looking like Robyn will win over fans in the future.
Right now, all fans can really do is speculate about Robyn Brown‘s hidden motives. But without a doubt, everyone will find out more when Season 18 premieres.
