General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) could make a bold move now that she feels like she’s making progress with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Spencer bonded with Esme back when he opened up about their history and the snow globe that he once gave her.
More recently, Spencer listened to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and decided to spend the afternoon in the park with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and Esme instead of seeking out Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
On GH’s August 7 episode, Spencer also praised Esme as a good mother and had a little photo montage with her.
Between the pics they took with Ace and the way Esme affectionately brushed Spencer’s hair over, she’s clearly looking for more than co-parenting or even friendship!
At this point, it’s just a matter of time until Esme makes a more romantic play for Spencer.
Esme might misread the situation and assume Spencer’s just as ready as she is for a kiss.
Then again, maybe Esme will know that’s not what Spencer wants and dive in for a kiss anyway – especially if she has the opportunity to do it in front of Trina.
Esme might hope she can push Trina out of the picture and pull Spencer closer at the same time.
Perhaps Esme will think she can fully win Spencer over if she can just deliver a relationship-ending blow.
Of course, it’s also possible Spencer will let himself get caught up in the fantasy. If Spencer kisses Esme back and gets swept up in the moment, that could make things even worse.
Regardless, we won’t be surprised if all this is building toward Spencer and Esme sharing a kiss.
Trina could easily walk in on a moment like that and leave Spencer scrambling to explain!
That could fuel Trina’s fears about Spencer hurting her again, particularly since Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is always trying to warn her daughter about the potential for more heartbreak.
