General Hospital Spoilers: Finn’s Misdiagnosis Mystery – New Investigation Finds Truth About Gregory’s Condition?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will eventually have to come clean about the secret he’s been keeping. It looks like a tipsy Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may play a role in how Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) ultimately discovers the truth about his father.

However, Gregory really needs to tell Finn everything anyway. It should be a relief to Gregory once he no longer has to hide his symptoms and deny that he’s struggling.

GH spoilers say Gregory will ultimately confirm the news that he has ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s disease. Finn will have a chance to react to that shocker and decide how to proceed.

Of course, there’s a good chance Finn will be in denial about what his dad’s up against. Finn may stand against Gregory’s diagnosis and argue that there has to be some other explanation.

This could be the start of Finn looking into other possibilities when it comes to Gregory’s rapidly declining state.

Finn won’t want to lose Gregory to such an awful disease, so he’ll likely try to tell himself this has to be something else – something treatable that he can save Gregory from.

Will Finn turn this into a misdiagnosis mystery and launch a new investigation? If so, that could eventually lead to Finn’s acceptance that Gregory indeed has ALS and no amount of investigating is going to change that.

Then again, it’s possible GH writers really will undo Gregory’s ALS and make it so he’s suffering from something else.

Regardless, the show may want to be careful about how they proceed considering there are viewers out there who suffer from ALS or have loved ones who are dealing with it.

The writing team may want to be sensitive to that as this storyline moves along.

No matter how things play out, Finn is on the verge of facing some shocking updates.

Gregory’s condition will shake up Finn’s world and leave him with plenty of concerns about the future.
