General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, August 24 – Sonny Demands Info from Carly – Emergency Meeting – Dante’s Assignment for Sam

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 24, reveal that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will find out about some big emergency, so she’ll wonder what’s up when she comes running into the Deception office.

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will be there to perhaps admit Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) isn’t doing well and will secretly remain in a tight spot due to Dr. Damon Montague’s (Darin Toonder) blackmail.

As for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), she’ll offer updates to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) about someone being out to bring them down with malicious intent.

Maxie and Lucy will share this troubling news with Brook Lynn, who may realize Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has made another manipulative move against the company.

Of course, Tracy also has a mysterious ally who’s mixed up in all this, so there’ll be more to reveal as this hot plot moves along.

Across town, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will ask if Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) would be willing to do him a favor.

That might involve checking on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and talking some sense into him if need be.

Based on Cody’s behavior in Thursday’s GH preview video, he’ll presumably still be trying to score a spot at Ferncliff so he can help Sasha.

Dante suspected that was the reason for Cody’s wild outburst at the PCPD recently.

Now Cody will be acting off his rocker at the Quartermaine stables, where he’ll push Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to cuff him right now.

Sam may show up and send Mac away while she urges Cody to stop trying to get himself committed for Sasha’s sake.

At Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) rehab facility, he’ll get a visit from Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

Curtis will ask if Jordan came all the way down there to check on his progress, so she may admit she had a more personal motive, too.

Jordan will want to see how Curtis is handling his paralysis and all the changes in his life, so we’ll see if she can get him to open up.

At the gallery, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will be confused by an answer Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) gives her.

Trina is curious about Spencer’s living arrangements and what they’ll look like once Laura Collins (Genie Francis) returns with Kevin Collins (Genie Francis), but Spencer may not know for sure what to expect.

Although Spencer would like to live on his own or maybe even with Trina, things are up in the air right now due to the situation with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

Spencer will end up confiding some of his struggles to Trina, so that’ll hopefully offset any tension that bubbles up over Esme – at least for now.

At Kelly’s, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will stop by and push for information on Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) visit to Pentonville, but she’ll no doubt get annoyed by all his questions.

Carly might remind Sonny that he said there were no strings attached to his recent favor.

It may feel like Sonny is hovering or trying to monitor Carly in some way, which isn’t what she wants.

Nevertheless, Sonny will deliver a warning about the danger and may worry that Carly could get caught up in Drew’s drama.

Although Sonny is doing his part to keep Drew, Carly and everyone else safe, there’s always the potential for things to go wrong!
