General Hospital Comings & Goings: [THIS] New Star Will Face Jack Montgomery In Court
TV Season & Spoilers recently reported the exciting news of actor Walt Willey reprising Jackson Montgomery once again for General Hospital. The iconic daytime star had made his crossover debut in Port Charles just a few weeks ago for a short stint. Walt’s appearance was met with a lot of fan-fare. So much so, that even the phenomenal actor admitted on his social media that he wasn’t expecting such a response! Thankfully the GH makers know gold when they see it!
Thus, they have once again roped Walt to reprise his AMC role of attorney Jackson Montgomery. The last time he was on, Lucy visited him in Pine Valley. However, this time round, Jackson will be visiting Port Charles. Currently, on the ABC soap, Deception is facing a law suit. The company is facing charges of stealing intellectual property to create Deceptor. Jackson will be the opposing counsel to Deception. Now, that brings us to another new entrant on the soap!
The latest news reports reveal that actress Carly Hughes has been roped in to portray the character of a lawyer on General Hospital. Deception will hire Carly’s character to represent them in court and clash with Jack in a war of words. In a recent chat with Soap Opera Digest, actress Lynn Herring (Lucy) raced Carly’s performance. “She’s just wonderful!” Lynn exclaimed. Furthermore, the seasoned star hoped that the makers and the storyline ahead manages to make space for Carly’s return to the fold.
Interestingly, this is not Carly’s first appearance on an ABC show. She has previously appeared in ABC Prime time comedy American Housewife for four seasons. Additionally, she has also starred as Jackie on the Lifetime movie The Christmas Edition. Well, going by her impressive filmography it is no wonder that Lynn had such wonderful things to say about Carly’s performance on General Hospital. The ABC soap veteran gushed that Carly played everything so well and is just adorable and charming.
Honestly, Lynn’s rave review of Carly’s performance has really excited us! And we can’t wait to watch her clash with Walt Willey’s Jack Montgomery on screen!
