News Of Billy Miller’s Death Released On His Birthday
Billy Miller was born on September 17, 1979. He was an actor and producer, known for American Sniper, Ray Donovan, and Suits, but he is best known to GH viewers as the original Drew.
He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas and w on three Daytime Emmys.
Two were for Outstanding Supporting Actor and one for Outstanding Lead Actor, all three for his role as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless. He also played Richie Novak on All My Children.
Billy also owned a company called 4M, building and operating bars in South Bay, California and was involved in a charity called “Operation Smile”.
This charity, helps children get operations to correct cleft palate, he raised awareness of child abuse prevention, as well as having spent five years in Scottish Rite Hospital as a child.
GH Spoilers: Early Career, Breaking Into Acting
Early on, Billy’s career mainly consisted, as many actors start out, making commercials. After graduating from college, Miller moved to Los Angeles and worked in the mail room of Industry Entertainment, his first acting break after he signed on with the Wilhelmina modeling agency.
He appeared in a total of six commercials, including two for Electronic Arts’ The Sims, and did commercials for JCPenney, Pizza Hut and pokerparty.com. He tried out for a role on As The World Turns, but wasn’t hired, and lost his management company due to bad management.
Billy took a two year break, returning to the business in 2006, appearing on CSI: New York, and shortly afterwards got the role of Richie Novak on All My Children.

Although Billy never married, he became involved with his GH co-star Kelly Monaco while playing first Jason Morgan and then Drew Cain, and it’s been said the two remained good friends.
The cause of Billy’s death has been widely speculated, but until his family makes an official statement all those inappropriate wild rumors that are flying should be considered inappropriate wild rumors.
Billy’s most recent acting work was the role of Ezra Moretti in an episode of NCIS in 2022.
Prior to that, Billy worked pretty steady as an actor from GH, to Suits, to Truth Be Told, also making an appearance on The Rookie prior to the one on NCIS. Our condolences go out to Billy’s many fans, family and friends.
