Sonny asks if it’s Michael, but she says it’s Gladys. She tells Sonny that Gladys is in serious debt with Selina Wu, and she’s been gambling for months. Sonny is furious as gambling pretty much destroyed Mike’s life. She says it gets worse, before coming to her for help paying off Selina, she was stealing money from Sasha.
She further explains that Gladys panicked when Sasha wanted to end the guardianship. Sonny recalls Gladys being against ending the guardianship and asks if Gladys tried to make sure that didn’t happen. Nina says she did a lot more than just that.
Sonny paces the room, and Nina fills him in on Gladys panicking when Sasha got stuck in Ferncliff with a dangerous doctor, whom Gladys claimed they needed to pay off. However, that’s when Cody broke Sasha out, though Gladys insists he kidnapped her. Sonny feels she shouldn’t have had to deal with this, Gladys is his family, his problem, and she will be dealt with.
Nina says there isn’t much they can do now, and they get back into bed. Nina’s not in the headspace to look through the wedding information Oliva gave her. She feels like all of this planning and show is so insignificant given what’s happened to Sasha and Curtis. Sonny suggests they just elope, and they’ll fly to the island tomorrow and get married. Nina screams yes and throws all the wedding papers in the air.
In his room at the hospital, Drew wakes up after a nightmare about his attack. He finds Willow sitting by his side. Drew asks why Willow is here. She explains wanted to come to see him, especially seeing he saved her life by rescuing Obrecht. She thinks a visit is the least she can do for him. Drew would like to know something and asks how Wiley’s t-ball team is doing.
Willow shows him photos of Wiley’s game, which he’s not the greatest at, but he won’t give up. She says Nina came last week and admits things between them have been going better than she imagined. Willow relays that Nina is respecting boundaries, and the kids love her. Drew asks what Michael’s opinion is, and whether has he changed towards Nina. She says he’s stubborn.
Drew gets where Michael is coming from given how Carly feels about Nina, but he can’t help but think how short life it is to carry grudges. Willow understands and feels blessed to be part of the Quartermaine family.
Willow walks out and is stunned to run into Harmony in the halls. Willow asks what she’s doing here. Harmony says she has a warning and begins speaking, but she mouths the words “You can’t trust…” with no sound coming out. Suddenly, Willow wakes up having been asleep on a couch in the lounge.
Finn and Liz run into one another at the nurses’ station, and both have been busy working late and haven’t seen much of the other. Liz says he won’t be running into her at night anymore as the kids are home from camp and back in school, so she’s moving back to day shifts. He admits he’s enjoyed these late nights with her. Liz is paged by a patient and tells him goodnight.
Later, Liz heads to the locker room to wash something off her scrubs, when she gets an eyeful of Finn in the showers. She approaches him and stares at him, and they lock eyes.
Liz walks into the shower with Finn, scrubs and all, and they kiss. She eventually steps out, leaving Finn to take a cold shower.
Later, Liz heads back to the nurses’ station, and Finn also turns up in his street clothes. Amy notices they both have wet hair.
Carly drops by the Quartermaine gatehouse. She tells Michael that Willow’s sitting with Drew, and she needs Michael’s help in exposing the corrupt judge who used Drew to advance his career. Carly again blames herself for Drew’s predicament, as she’s the one who didn’t listen and invested in those stocks. Michael says she’s not to blame, this is the fault of the person who turned them into the SEC. Carly says now that she has this information on the judge, she’s going to use it.
Carly tells Michael it’s going to be tough to prove misconduct on the judge’s part. Michael says the appearance of it might be enough if they get this story to the press to put pressure on the judge. Michael says Alexis likely wouldn’t run a hit piece for his mom, but Carly knows who she would do it for.
Carly changes the subject to who tipped off the SEC if not Ned. Michael says he’s been doing some work and has made contact with someone at the SEC, so they’ll find out who turned her and Drew in
Ava returns to a Wyndemere, heading in out of the cold, damp rain, and learns from her butler Giles that the storm has knocked out their hot water heater. She hopes the vodka situation is safe and has him make her a very dry martini.
Giles brings Ava a martini, and when there is a crash of thunder, he accidentally spills it on her just-changed and dry blouse. She thinks she wasn’t meant to be dry this evening. He hands her an envelope from the real estate office, and she tells him to get home safely.
Ava opens the envelope, which is full of photos of the house for the market. She can’t wait to sell the place. Ava toasts to the end of Wyndemere and all that happened here. She thinks about her fight with Nikolas that she thought left him dead.
When something flashes by in the living room, Ava is startled and drops her glass.
It’s Mason, and Ava warns him to leave or she’ll call the cops. He tells her to go for it, as they’ll be long gone before the cops arrive. She says she’s not going anywhere with him and backs up to the fireplace to grab a poker. Mason warns her not to do that, says she ratted them out, and that wasn’t smart
Later, we see a shot of the dark, but empty, living room.
