When General Hospital Will Return And the 10 Burning Questions They’ll Need To Answer
Sorry, General Hospital fans, but it looks as if you’re going to have to sit on the edge of that seat for a little while. Why? Because Monday’s episode not only left us with several cliffhangers, but was the last episode we’re going to get for a little while.
It turns out that General Hospital will not be airing on Tuesday, October 3, or Wednesday, October 4 thanks to major league baseball games. (How awesome would it be if just once, the tables were turned? Imagine tuning in for some sportsball event, as we like to call them, and hearing the announcer say, “Today’s game will not be broadcast so that we may bring you the following special episode of General Hospital.”
In any case, when the soap returns later this week, the writers will have more than a few questions to answer. In fact, it’s kinda shocking how many unresolved plot points are hanging in the air right now. Including…
• Who burst into Sasha’s room at Ferncliff just as Montague was about to inject her with a no-doubt lethan drug?
• How, exactly, will Sonny punish Gladys now that he’s called her out for everything she did to Brando’s widow?
• Where is Ava, who went missing last week following a visit from Mason?
• Now that Sonny and Nina have decided to elope, will they do so before her big secret can be exposed? (One thing we know is that their wedding day won’t officially begin until Thursday, October 12, according to the latest spoilers.)
• Did Charlotte really set fire to Anna’s house, or is Valentin completely off the mark where his daughter is concerned?
• With Eddie/Ned’s ex Lois set to return next week, should Olivia kiss any chance of reclaiming her husband’s heart farewell?
• What was the late Harmony trying to tell Willow in her dreams?
• When will someone — Finn, Tracy, Elizabeth… anyone! — finally clue Chase in to what’s going on with his dad?
• How will Spencer react to the news that his dad is alive and well?
• Speaking of Nikolas, when will he return to Port Charles and what, exactly, does he have planned?
To be clear, these are just the very big questions to which we’re awaiting answers. There are also a slew of smaller ones, such as whether or not Finn and Elizabeth will figure out how to make a relationship work, whether those sparks we saw flying between Kristina and Blaze will develop into something more, and what it will take to finally get Drew out of jail and back into Carly’s arms.
