General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will await confirmation that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) did what he was told. Mason tried to protest that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) didn’t want Ava Jerome (Maura West) harmed, but Cyrus insisted his vote was the one that counted.
After Cyrus ordered Ava eliminated, Mason showed up and kidnapped Ava from Wyndemere, but what happened next?
It looks like Mason made the risky offscreen decision to hand Ava over to Nikolas alive – and that’s definitely going to put him on Cyrus’ bad side!
During the week of October 9-13, Cyrus will get updates on a setback that leaves him fuming.
It won’t be long until Cyrus gets in touch with Austin and announces that he’s got a new mission for him.
Of course, Austin may remind Cyrus that he said to go in peace! Although Austin was hoping he was done with all this, Cyrus will warn that the doc isn’t done until he says so.
It sounds like Austin may push back and ask Cyrus what’ll happen if he refuses.
However, Austin should know by now that Cyrus is willing to resort to some pretty twisted threats if need be.
GH spoilers say Cyrus will end up blackmailing Austin, who’ll have no choice but to carry out Cyrus’ orders unless he wants to face devastating consequences.
Cyrus could easily threaten Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) or even Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her children since Austin still has a special place for them in his heart.
Austin would never forgive himself if anything happened to someone innocent that he cares about because he refused to cooperate.
It seems Austin will surrender to Cyrus’ demands for now, but what exactly will Cyrus want?
Considering the timing of this blackmail and what just went down with Ava, Cyrus might want Austin to find Ava and finish the job!
Once Cyrus discovers that Mason betrayed him, he may send Austin to track Ava down and take her out permanently.
Cyrus might push Austin to get rid of Cousin Mason as well since that kind of disloyalty won’t be tolerated.
There’s even a chance Cyrus will want Nikolas gone too if he senses Nik’s becoming too much of a threat to his power.
Cyrus might at least want Nikolas in captivity, so there could be some layers to Austin’s difficult mission and everything he’s forced to do.
Regardless, Austin will land in a tight spot once Cyrus blackmails him into submission, so he’ll have to play along until he can figure out a better solution.
