General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny & Nina’s Wedding Rings Spotted in Behind-the-Scenes Video – SEC Snitching Can’t Stop Marriage?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are set to head to Puerto Rico for their elopement festivities, but some drama’s definitely about to go down.
Nina will soon get busted for blabbing to the SEC, so Sonny will learn she’s the one who turned in Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for insider trading.
It looks like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be responsible for discovering the shocker and making sure Sonny knows about it.
However, a new behind-the-scenes video hints that even SEC snitching can’t stop Sonny and Nina’s marriage!
Cynthia Watros and Maurice Benard recently made a fun vid on set to promote the show’s upcoming GH fan event at Graceland.
Benard and Watros can be seen in wardrobe during a break from filming – and we can’t help but notice the wedding rings they seem to be wearing.
Watros appears to have on Nina’s engagement ring and a separate wedding band while Benard’s got a wedding band on, too.
Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Sonny will immediately move ahead with the ceremony after Michael exposes Nina’s secret.
It’s possible Sonny will need some time to process what Nina did to Carly and Drew as well as the fact that she hid it from him.
Then again, maybe Sonny loves Nina enough that he’ll be willing to overlook her mistake and proceed as planned.
Either way, Nina made a bad decision in a moment of anger, which she couldn’t take back since Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) had already ratted out Drew and Carly for her.
Carly has made plenty of mistakes of her own – like withholding the truth about both of Nina’s daughters and so much more.
Drew and Carly also committed an actual crime, so they really only have themselves to blame!
Although Sonny isn’t going to be happy about Nina’s actions, it looks like her SEC blunder won’t be enough to stop him from marrying her – whether it happens in Puerto Rico or perhaps back in Port Charles once he’s cooled down.
