Janelle and Christine Brown from Sister Wives are caught talking badly about their ex-husband, Kody Brown, while on a night out with their work.
Kody Brown is not well-liked among Sister Wives fans, and it appears he is also not well thought of among his ex-wives. The patriarch burned bridges with his large polygamous family after implementing some severe COVID-19 rules. Now that the family is estranged, more and more of the Browns are starting to speak out.
According to the U.S. Sun, Janelle and Christine were overheard talking badly about their former shared husband while on a night out. The Sister Wives star was out for their Plexus Gala in Nashville with Janelle’s daughter, Maddie Brown Brush, and reportedly had a few words to describe Kody’s lazy spouse skills. An eyewitness shared that Christine, Janelle, Maddie, and David Woolley were all in a deep discussion, talking “smack” about Kody. Both Christine and Janelle were dressed up to the nines in revenge dresses, essentially sticking it to Kody.
Who Is Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Still Married To?
No one was said to be off limits within the plural family, as the Mirror insider revealed that the Sister Wives stars were also talking about Meri and Robyn Brown. It doesn’t come as a shock since Janelle and Christine have always made it clear they were not fans of Kody’s first and fourth wives. The conversation lasted “over three hours,” and Christine became heated at one point when bringing up Kody and their toxic marriage.

Kody is currently only legally married to Robyn, as they both reside in Flagstaff, Arizona. According to Kody’s favorite wife, a polygamous wife can only be granted a divorce in the church’s eyes if the wife lies with another man. Christine announced her departure in November 2021, while Janelle and Meri both revealed their separation in January. However, as of now, Christine is the only one to have moved on with a new man, which could technically mean, spiritually, Kody is still married to Meri and Janelle.
Sister Wives season 18 has already been greenlit, with all four wives and Kody confirming they will be returning. Christine shared that she would be filming the newest season from her home in Utah and that David would also be appearing in the new episodes. No love has been lost between Kody and his two wives, especially since he treated them the worst. It makes sense that Christine and Janelle would want to blow off some steam and trash talk the patriarch since they most likely never could say this stuff to his face as he would have thrown a tantrum.
