General Hospital Spoilers: Sam & Dante’s Wedding Plans Bring Lulu Awakening Countdown – Proposal Follow Drew’s Exit?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could soon have wedding plans on their minds. There was a time when Sam would’ve run from a commitment like that, but she now feels much more comfortable talking about Dante and their future.

That’s especially true now that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is making such a selfish decision.

It’s true that Drew is making a sacrifice for Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) sake, but it’s coming at the expense of his own daughter.

Drew already missed out on years with Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) when he was stuck in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) clutches, but now he’s willingly accepting his prison fate.

Sam was already upset at the idea of Drew being away from Scout for a six-month Spring Ridge stay, so she’ll be even more upset once she learns he’s facing two years at Pentonville instead thanks to a harsh judge.

Scout is going to need plenty of love, support and stability to get through this, so Sam and Dante might think a wedding would help.

For starters, Scout could be part of the planning and have a nice distraction. It’d be good for Scout to focus on being a flower girl or some other special role in her mom’s big day.

It would also let Scout know that her stepdad-to-be isn’t going anywhere.

Dante might hope he can prove to Scout that he’s going to stick around and be there for their blended family.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is thrilled to be marrying Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so his wedding plans could inspire Dante as well.

Maybe Dante will think it’s time to lock in his future just like Sonny’s doing.

It seems like the show’s been focusing on Sam and Dante’s romance a bit more lately.

GH writers are going out of their way to show us how much Dante and Sam treasure each other.

That trend will continue during the week of June 26-30 when Sam and Dante have a fun date night.

Could all of this be building to Dante’s marriage proposal? Will Sam accept and start planning her nuptials?

If so, the countdown could be on when it comes to Lulu Spencer’s (last played by Emme Rylan) coma awakening.

Dante and Sam’s wedding day could be when Lulu will finally make her shocking return!
