General Hospital is an extremely loved daily soap with a very loyal fan base. This has managed to keep the soap on air for several decades, with no sign of slowing down anytime soon. Over the years, the soap has rolled up many storylines offering a plethora of flavors. However, one thing that gives GH leverage its competitors is the thrill and the mystery that is always an ongoing theme! Currently, on the soap, there is one mystery that has been building up for a long time, but it seems that it might finally be time to spill the beans on that one! We are talking about the identity of Austin and Mason’s ferocious lady boss!
Who Is Calling The Real Shots?
For a while now, many General Hospital fans have been speculating that Olivia Jerome could be the woman pulling Austin and Mason’s string. True that she has been behind bars, but hey, that’s no reason to write her off. We have seen this happen many times before! Many villains have managed to run their mobs from behind bars! All they ever really needed were some extra bucks, a few prison guards on the payroll, and a cell phone! Thus, Olivia following the same code would have made total sense!
Moreover, when Ava got caught up in the whole trap that Mason set up by rescuing Nik and holding him as leverage, it just started to feel like a build-up to a Jerome family feud. Viewers anticipated that when the boss finally gets revealed, it would put Olivia Jerome against Ava Jerome on General Hospital! Now that would have been quite thrilling! However, there is also a possibility that Selena would get revealed as the boss. It is quite plausible that she was the one who orchestrated the attack on Sonny at the warehouse. Moreover, Selena has expressed interest in wanting to know more about Sonny’s activities. Perhaps she wants to overthrow him as the ultimate underworld don and take over his throne!
A New Character Getting Introduced As The REAL Lady Boss On General Hospital
While both the above options would make a lot of sense, General Hospital has been dropping a lot of hints against them being the lady boss. In one of the recent episodes, Mason referred to Ava as that “Jerome woman.” Now, if Olivia was really his boss , it would be highly unlikely that Mason would make that choice of words. Besides, Mason has shown zero inclination toward Ava’s family history. Not even a single comment or reference to it. He is solely interested in her connection with Sonny.
As for Selena, the whole focus seems to be on her gambling ring in General Hospital. Moreover, considering that she is so vocal, hands-on, and so out there with her activities, it almost doesn’t appear her style to be calling shots from behind a screen. Besides, if she really had men like Mason and Austin under her thumb, why would she be dealing with Cody and Gladys on her own? This brings us to another mystery woman that has suddenly had her presence felt on the soap. Recently, Martin made a casual statement about what a troublemaker his new wife is! Now, if she wasn’t about to pop up in the near future to create some real trouble, why would Martin ever bring her up?
