General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, August 2 – Cyrus’ Money Giveaway – Sonny’s Tempting Offer for Carly – Chase Grills Austin
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 2, reveal that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will pay a visit to Deception, where she’ll pressure Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to do her dirty work again.
However, Brook Lynn will refuse to take any more risks for Tracy and will push her to figure something else out if she wants to move forward with her plans.
In the meantime, it looks like Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will try to handle the PR crisis that’s erupting over Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) wild outburst and new stint in Ferncliff.
While Maxie tries to undo the damage to Deception’s reputation and get the public focused on something else, Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) will land in a situation where he has to play referee.
That’ll probably involve some drama related to “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), so stay tuned to watch Leo pressure the grownups to keep the peace.
In Chechnya, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will urge Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to see that his wife’s safety is more important than hatred, so how can Kevin disagree?
Kevin will apparently relent when it comes to Valentin’s plan, which will hopefully keep Laura Collins (Genie Francis) safe as their trip continues.
As for Laura, she’ll also give Valentin some encouragement in Wednesday’s GH episode.
Since Valentin hasn’t checked in with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in a while, Laura may urge him to get in touch.
Back in Port Charles, Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will show up at the hospital, where he’ll apparently show Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) a picture of Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall) and ask some questions about him.
Of course, Austin may keep it simple and act like Gordon was just another patient since he won’t want to stir up too much drama with the police.
At Kelly’s, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will ask how someone found out she was running the place.
It could be Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) since he tries to make Carly an offer that she can’t refuse in Wednesday’s preview video.
Sonny might admit he got updates on the news from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) or even Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), but what he’ll really want to focus on is this tempting proposal.
However, it may be an offer that Carly can refuse after all since she’ll turn down Sonny’s help in the coming episodes.
Even if Carly chooses to mull over Sonny’s offer, it doesn’t sound like she’ll take him up on it in the end.
At GH, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will get a shock when he comes to see Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who’ll be recovering from his heart attack.
Cyrus will suddenly become determined to give all his money away, so he’ll talk to Martin about how close he came to passing away and explain why he wants to donate all the cash.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will feel truly transformed after that vision of Laura when he was just barely clinging to life, so he’ll make some big changes.
