Perkie’s Observations: Laura Worries Nikolas is Actually Dead on General Hospital

On today’s General Hospital recap:

Kristina complains to Michael about Josslyn’s comments. Michael asks how Kristina would feel if it had been Alexis in Carly’s position. Kristina says they all mourned Sonny and she’s not going to judge Sonny’s love for Nina.

Nina stops by to see Willow and the two make small talk. Willow says she just wants her life and independence back. Nina says she wants to get to know Willow better. Michael gets home so Nina heads out.

Michael talks about having to work at ELQ since Ned is running around as Eddie Maine and Valentin is nowhere to be found. Willow is inspired and wishes she could go back to her career. Michael doesn’t want her to do too much too soon, but she says she feels stronger. Michael wants her to focus on their family first. Willow understands but says she can’t turn her back on nursing and helping others. She promises the family will come first though.

Nina stops by Charlie’s and Kristina brings up her youth center. She’s touched Nina believes in her. Nina says she’s impressed and offers to help in any way. Kristina says she’s on Nina side by virtue of Sonny being in love with her. Nina complains about Michael, but Kristina reassures her Michael will eventually come around.

Liz runs into Austin and Ava and he if she’s heard from Nikolas, which Ava denies. Liz asks Austin if Chase found questioned him about the dead body. Liz mentions seeing Dex lurking outside Austin’s office before he found the body.

Liz joins Finn for dinner. She says her mother emailed and it hit a nerve. They wonder if this relationship is friendship or more. The two admit they’re scared but are willing to see where the relationship goes.

Austin wonders if Sonny killed Gordon, but Ava doesn’t believe he would be that stupid. Ava asks if Dex could have seen anything when he was lurking, and Austin admits Mason and Gordon were in his office at that time.

Austin says he told Chase that Gordon was a patient so Ava directs him to create a fake file. Austin is certain Ava doesn’t have to worry about anything but then comes back to the question of whether she told Sonny she killed Nikolas. Ava admits she told Sonny and Austin worries what will happen next. Ava tells him to keep moving forward and not screw up. The two share a kiss.

Laura and Kevin head to the property on Cassadine Island but Kostas tells them that Interpol and WSB have already checked. There was no sign of Nikolas. Laura says the best place for Nikolas to hide would be the sub basement, and the two search but don’t find anyone .

Laura decides if Nikolas is not hiding out on the island maybe something bad happened to him after all. She wonders who would want to harm Nikolas. Kevin thinks Nikolas is too ashamed to face the mess he’s made which is why he ran away.

Anna is thrilled to see Valentin waiting for her when she gets home, but he wants to know who tried to kill her. Anna explains what happened at the pool. The shooter was aiming at either her or Sonny, and the rifle was traced back to the WSB.

Anna says it’s possible it’s just one agent working from the inside that leaked her history as a double agent. Anna wonders if he knows something that could pose a threat. Valentin says Victor hated her and could be the one to hurt her. The two declare their love for each other.
