General Hospital Update: Friday, August 11 – Police Nightmare, Rescue Roadblock and Lonely Bed Without Sonny
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, August 11, indicates that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will share some surprising news with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) potentially wanting to move in Lulu Spencer’s (last played by Emme Rylan) former home.
It sounds like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will wonder whether the suggestion came from Sam or Maxie, so Sam should admit she was the one who brought it up.
Although Dante will have to wrap his head around the notion, he may agree Lulu would approve of Maxie and her kids living at her old place.
Of course, Dante should get updates on all bar drama sooner or later.
A physical confrontation just broke out involving “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Some legal problems will follow since the four of them will end up at the PCPD soon after.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will offer phone calls once everyone’s in police custody, so there’ll inevitably be some worries about charges and lawyers.
Olivia will defend herself as well as “Eddie” and Carly since they were both rescuing her from slimy Mason, who couldn’t take no for an answer.
However, Mason won’t be in police custody for long since he’ll visit Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) at GH soon after.
That’ll bring more of Mason’s demands along with a reminder about how much is on the line for Austin as well as his cousin.
Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will awaken in bed alone and wonder where Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) dashed off to.
It turns out Sonny will find out about the bar incident, so he’ll rush over to see if he can help Carly along with “Eddie” and Olivia.
Unfortunately, Carly doesn’t want to feel indebted to Sonny in any way.
Despite Sonny’s attempt to fix this legal situation, Carly will urge her ex to back off and frustrate him as a result.
Sonny will push Carly for answers about why she’s digging her heels in and worrying about her pride more than her criminal record.
Back with Nina, she’ll get Ava Jerome (Maura West) on the phone and apparently gripe about Sonny dropping everything to help Carly.
Ava will shrug it off and act like Nina should’ve expected this since Sonny will never truly get Carly out of his system.
Meanwhile, it seems Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will go for a jog while someone spies and takes action against her.
By the time the episode wraps up, Anna will be alarmed over a blaze that threatens to engulf her house.
On what appears to be the hospital roof, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will do some reflecting – presumably after the loss of a patient.
It may remind Finn that tomorrow isn’t promised and leave him fearful about Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) potentially growing up without a dad.
Finn may fear his life could get cut short, so he might talk to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about serving as Violet’s guardian if that truly happens.
The show already touched on this back in 2021, but it looks like GH writers will bring it up again and confirm that Liz will raise Violet if necessary.
General Hospital spoilers say Finn will have an extraordinary request for Elizabeth, so she’ll offer reassurance on Friday’s show.
