General Hospital Spoilers: Mason Blackmails Dex – Threatens to Expose Michael’s Plant in Sonny’s Organization?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will get more involved in Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) storyline, but it could lead to more trouble than he bargained for.

During the week of August 21-25, Dex’s blown cover could become a problem.

It sounds like Mason might catch Dex spying for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and could perhaps turn the tables on him.

After all, GH fans know Mason’s boss is quite powerful and the people who work for her clearly have a lot of resources.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) was stunned when they found her biological mother and started threatening her, so these people understand how to uncover blackmail material.

That brings us to a major secret that Dex has been keeping.

Dex started as Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) plant in Sonny’s organization, but that shocker never managed to come out.

Instead, Dex struck a new deal to keep working for Michael and help Sonny instead of plotting to destroy him.

Now Dex reports back to Michael with news and gets guidance on how to steer Sonny in the right direction.

However, that doesn’t erase the fact that Dex almost helped Michael put Sonny in prison!

Dex secretly recorded a Pikeman shipment meeting and gave Michael the ability to take down his father.

No matter what’s happened since then, Sonny wouldn’t be OK with all that deception.

Dex is someone Sonny has come to rely on, but that trust would shatter if he knew Dex was initially working against him.

Furthermore, Sonny might have his doubts about Dex’s new deal with Michael and whether that’s even legit.

If Sonny gets a reason to question Dex’s loyalty, he’ll have no way of knowing what’s true and what’s not.

That’s why if Mason uncovers this information, he could use it to control Dex and make him a spy for a new boss instead.

Mason might threaten to expose Dex’s original plan to Sonny if he doesn’t give up all available Pikeman intel.

If Dex indeed gets backed into that corner, what will he do? Will Dex come clean to Sonny and beg for mercy or go along with Mason’s demand?
