General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin’s Coma Cure for Lulu – Secretly Fighting to Reunite Charlotte & Mom?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is keeping secrets that make him look shady, but we suspect things aren’t quite as they seem. It’d be weird for GH writers to throw away all Valentin’s character development by taking him back into villain territory.

Instead, it seems likely that Valentin is doing bad things for good reasons.

That fits with the complex character Valentin has become and the man that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has fallen in love with.

Anna has considered the possibility that Valentin is being blackmailed or that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is in danger.

Those are indeed great options to consider when it comes to why Valentin still seems stuck in Pikeman’s web.

However, there could be another interesting layer to this story.

What if it’s not about what Valentin has to lose but about what he might gain instead – specifically what he might gain for Charlotte’s sake?

GH writers have suddenly been playing up how much Charlotte misses her comatose mother.

It’s clear that Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) absence from Charlotte’s life is really taking a toll on her.

When Valentin got updates on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) taking Charlotte to see Lulu, he saw that it upset his daughter.

Valentin urged Dante to let him know before any future visits, but Dante made it clear that he wasn’t going to ask for permission.

That whole exchange seemed intriguing – like it was a hint that Lulu has something to do with what Valentin’s hiding.

What if Valentin has been offered a deal that could bring Lulu out of her coma?

There might be some experimental drug that could work like a charm and finally give Charlotte her mom back.

Since Charlotte is struggling so much, Valentin might be desperate to take her pain away.

Valentin has also formed a bond with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so he’d be giving Laura her daughter back too if he pulled this off.

Of course, Valentin could still be facing major consequences if he doesn’t do what he’s told, but Lulu’s miracle cure could be an additional incentive.

It’s possible Pikeman has offered this rare cure to Valentin – or since Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) organization has drug connections, maybe he’s recruited Valentin as a Pikeman plant or something along those lines.

Regardless, maybe Valentin’s shadiness will ultimately have good intentions if he’s trying to reunite Charlotte and Lulu.
