General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 7, reveals that the GH board voted to approve Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) as the head nurse, so she could take over for Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) as early as next week.

Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) delivered the news, so Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) wanted to take Liz out to celebrate.

Although Liz invited Finn, he declined since he had work to do – though he assured Liz that he was happy for her and seemed hopeful about reconnecting.

After their hookup in Zeke Robinson’s (Gavin Houston) suite, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) talked about how maybe she needed to start having fun with no strings attached.

Zeke took an urgent client call from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and agreed to meet up with him, but he hoped he could get Jordan’s number.

Jordan decided Zeke could put his own number in her phone instead, so the ball was left in her court on whether they’d see each other again.

Down in the Metro Court restaurant, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) ran into Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and seemed concerned about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) since she was shutting him out.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) came over and tried to offer sympathy, but Valentin took off abruptly once Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) summoned him.

In Sonny’s office, he admitted to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) that he was starting to believe Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) SEC tip denial.

Sonny worried that maybe there was no anonymous tip at all and this was just about getting Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to flip on him.

The conversation shifted to the downside of the mob life as well as the upside.

Sonny reminded Dex of when he punched his superior officer to stop his abuse since that was the only way to get it done.

That let Sonny know he had something in common with Dex.

Although it would take time to rebuild trust, Sonny saw Dex’s great potential and knew he could give him a place where he belonged.

However, Sonny warned that if Dex wanted to succeed, he had to commit. After Sonny said Dex was all in now, Dex made it clear that he understood.

Back at the Metro Court, Nina found Ned celebrating with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) since she now believed he was innocent Olivia insisted Sonny was coming around too and left Nina alarmed, so Ned seemed suspicious.

After Nina walked away, Olivia pushed Ned to focus on making sure the family didn’t fall apart by figuring out who fed Drew and Carly to the wolves.

Out on the terrace, Martin warned Nina that his phone records and computer had been subpoenaed since the feds were pressuring him to give up Nina’s identity.

Nina flipped out and insisted she never would’ve done this if she knew it wouldn’t be anonymous or that it could blow back on Sonny.

Although Martin wanted Nina to be aware of the risks, he said he’d do everything in his power to make sure no one knew she tipped off the SEC to Carly and Drew’s actions.

Ned wound up overhearing the news of Nina’s guilt as he spied nearby, so he looked shocked.

In Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) room at GH, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) suited up for a visit before Drew stopped by as well.

Drew offered his support through the protective barrier as he spoke to Willow over the phone.

Once Drew was gone, Michael admitted to Willow that he had every intention of destroying the evidence against Sonny, but now Carly could use it as leverage for her own freedom as well as Drew’s.

Willow decided that no matter what happened, she’d support Michael and his family.

Terry ultimately interrupted to see how Willow was feeling and run a few tests.

Back in Zeke’s suite, Jordan realized he left without his room keycard and knew that he’d need it to get back in.

At the Metro Court pool bar, Drew met up with Zeke since he was his attorney.

Zeke was pleased to hear Drew wanted him to start working on a deal and assumed that meant Drew would testify against Carly.

Instead, Drew said he was turning himself in – though he warned Zeke not to finalize the deal once he got it in place.

There was still an ace up Drew’s sleeve that might make all this go away.

Later, Drew called Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to set up a meeting that needed to happen away from the rest of the family.

In the Metro Court restaurant, Jordan crossed paths with Zeke and gave him the room keycard that he left upstairs.

Zeke invited Jordan for a nightcap, but she turned him down and acknowledged that she still had his number.

As Jordan was getting on the elevator, she spotted Zeke’s encounter with Portia and Liz.

When Portia hugged Zeke and asked Liz if had met her brother, Jordan was stunned.

In Carly’s kitchen, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) played dumb about the flash drive, but Carly insisted her daughter knew “damn well” what it was.

Since Carly knew everything now, Josslyn pushed her mom to finish what Michael started.

After Josslyn said Sonny ruined all their lives, Carly insisted Sonny couldn’t go to prison.

Josslyn argued that it’d be better if Sonny landed behind bars than Carly since he was a criminal.

Carly felt like Joss previously knew it wasn’t that cut and dry, so she didn’t understand what had changed her perspective.

After Josslyn lashed out over all the pain Sonny brought to their family, she threw Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) fate in Carly’s face before apologizing.

Carly shouted at Josslyn to stop and smashed the flash drive since she felt she should’ve done that the moment she got it.

Although Josslyn assumed Carly just condemned Dex, Carly disagreed and vowed to take care of everything as she left.

Soon after, Carly locked eyes with Michael as she met up with him at the hospital.

In Sonny’s office again, Valentin gave Sonny updates on Pikeman making arrangements for the second shipment.

Sonny had a big problem with that since he warned there’d be no more of them until Pikeman uncovered who targeted him.

Valentin admitted that Pikeman probably didn’t know, but it wasn’t a good look for them to admit it.

Sonny insisted it wasn’t a good look to call his bluff either and warned he wouldn’t let them unload one crate until his terms were met.

Dex was dismissed before Sonny asked Valentin about Anna – and then the topic of Sonny’s engagement came up, too.

Valentin congratulated Sonny since Nina was an amazing woman and said they should be good to one another.

When Dex joined Josslyn at Carly’s place, Joss told him it was over and that there was no way out for them now.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will do her best to fight for a solution, so stay tuned!
