  •  Robyn’s change in perspective on polygamy may lead her to consider leaving her current religious sect to pursue a monogamous relationship with Kody, and potentially prevent him from adding another wife. Sister Wives star Robyn Brown prefers monogamy now, which hints that her religious beliefs are shifting. The Utah native is most popular for her polygamous relationship with Kody Brown on the hit reality TV show. The couple debuted together when Sister Wives first aired in 2010. The two were deeply in love then, but preferred keeping their marriage plural. Robyn didn’t mind that Kody Brown had three more wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. She followed the Mormon religion, Apostolic United Brethren, which allowed her to practice polygamy without guilt.

Robyn has been polygamous with Kody since they tied the knot a decade ago. However, things changed a few years ago when the other sister wives began leaving Kody. Christine left to be with another man, and Janelle confidently ended her marriage. Recently, Kody’s first wife, Meri, also called it quits and moved on. This sudden change pushed Robyn to fall into a monogamous relationship unintentionally. She became an exclusive partner to Kody and was initially unprepared for it. Despite that, Robyn kept calm as she began enjoying her newfound monogamy.

Robyn was once all about plural relationships. However, she has recently been relishing her exclusive marriage with Kody. The 44-year-old mom’s new respect for monogamy hints that she may have changed her views on polygamy. Previously, Robyn was into following her religion and doing the right thing by staying polygamous. However, she may have changed her opinions on plural marriages and learned that she should pursue her happiness and goals over religion. In a recent interview with ET

Will Robyn Change Her Faith So She Doesn’t Have To Share Her Husband?

Robyn belongs to Apostolic United Brethren, a sect of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her religion has allowed her to stay polygamous with Kody for the longest time. However, since her views are rapidly changing, she may want to do everything it takes to make her dreams come true. While Kody may be up to adding another wife, Robyn can stop him by changing her religion and making him submit to her only. She can opt for a strict belief that only allows monogamous relationships by checking out certain Christian groups, Hinduism, and more.

Could Robyn’s Shift To Wanting Monogamy Backfire?

Robyn has also stated that she fears letting more women in because of how Kody’s other three relationships ended. According to ET, she thinks it’s “disrespectful” how Kody moves on to the next one like his previous partners didn’t matter. She seems worried that the same fate could befall her if she continues polygamy. Still, Robyn appears to be stressing too much and biting more than she can chew by staying monogamous. While she may feel that being exclusive with Kody will always be like sunshine and rainbows, it could backfire. The Sister Wives star may regret the monogamous relationship once her husband becomes more demanding and be with her all the time.
