FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA: ‘Sister Wives’ star Janelle Brown has come around to face the brunt of her poor financial decisions over the years as she finds herself penniless following her recent split with ex-husband and the Brown family patriarch, Kody Brown.

It has been exclusively revealed by The Sun that Kody has been generously contributing to Republican presidential candidates, despite his previous assertions of facing ‘financial issues.’

Under the guise of financial constraints, Kody has reportedly paid a total of forty contributions to the political party of his choice from 2020 to 2023, amounting to a whopping $6,473.01.

This includes the $520.51 donated to Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and $205 paid to Winred, the official Republican party fundraising platform.

All of this spending has cast a shadow on the construction of the Brown family’s Coyote Pass home in Arizona, which remains unfinished as funds are hard to come by.

The Coyote Pass home was supposed to have individual homes for all the sister wives, as declared by Kody himself earlier.

Following her separation from Kody, Janelle now reportedly finds herself in the unenviable position of being left without a dime as the majority of the property was brought out of her personal funds and she herself has no claim to any personal assets that she could either flip or liquidate when in need of cash.

Kody’s financial troubles have been a long time in the making. Kody and his ex-wife Meri Brown jointly filed for bankruptcy in 2005, as per The List.

This came as the only possible recourse they had to avoid paying their hugely overdue bills. According to reports, the couple had a meager $5 in all of their joint bank accounts and were left with just $10 in cash.

Kody’s income as a salesman and Meri’s remuneration from her engraving job wasn’t enough to pay off the formidable $230,000 debt that they then had.

‘Sister Wives’ star Gwendlyn Brown accuses father Kody of spending beyond his means

Kody’s daughter Gwendlyn doesn’t mince words when it comes to identifying her father’s problematic financial habits.

She previously revealed that her father often spends beyond his means, leading to accumulating debts and other liabilities.

She further accused Kody of not evenly sharing his income with his former wives. “I think that my dad and Robyn have a terrible habit of spending very crazy and like not within their means at all,” she said.

‘Sister Wives’ star Robyn Brown allegedly brought debt into the Brown family

Following her divorce from her ex-husband and at the time of marrying Kody, Robyn possessed several credit cards with high balances and overdue debt, as per The Things.

She also had store cards from Victoria’s Secret and Sears. Coupled with the fact that she brought three children from her previous marriage, it can be speculated that Robyn added considerably to Kody’s already escalating debt.
