General Hospital Spoilers: Jake’s Medical Crisis – Hudson West Returns for New Scenes with Liz & Austin

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a familiar face will make a comeback on the ABC soap. Hudson West will reprise the role of Jake Webber during the week of August 21-25, so look for Jake to pop up in new scenes with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).

There are some GH spoilers for the August 22 episode that perhaps offer a hint about Jake’s upcoming appearance.

It turns out Austin and Liz will take care of a patient, so it seems likely that patient will be Jake.

Perhaps Jake will have some sports-related injury or get hurt while goofing off with his friends or even Aiden Webber (Enzo de Angelis).

Jake is a good kid, but teenage boys can often be a little too fearless and rambunctious.

That could lead to Jake getting some sprain or broken bone, so Elizabeth may tend to him along with Austin once he lands at GH.

Of course, it’s also possible Jake will have a more serious health issue or at least a mysterious one that Liz needs help diagnosing.

That might be where Austin comes in if there are questions about exactly what’s wrong with Jake.

However, it’s doubtful the writers are going to throw anything major at Liz right now.

Elizabeth will need to be there for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as he copes with Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) ALS diagnosis.

It’s just tough to imagine Liz having something super heavy to deal with in her own family as a result.

It seems more likely Jake’s medical crisis will be a minor one, but it could still leave Elizabeth counting her blessings.

Jake is growing up fast, but he’ll always be Liz’s baby and will inevitably get doted on once this ordeal arises.
