General Hospital May Sweeps Preview – Luke’s True Fate Revealed – Willow’s Last-Minute Miracle – Victor’s Looming Exit
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that May sweeps is coming up, so we’ve got a preview for you. Several storylines are marching toward shocking climaxes and dramatic conclusions, so let’s discuss what’s ahead on the ABC soap.
First, there’ll be an exciting return to kick things off. Constance Towers has a couple of appearances coming up as the incomparable Helena Cassadine, so it’ll be interesting to see exactly how she becomes part of the action.
It’s unlikely that Helena will come back from the dead, so she might return in a vision or dream.
There’s even a chance fans will finally see the rest of Helena’s video message from Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) memorial service.
Regardless, Helena will play a big role in how May sweeps begins. It’s always wonderful to see Constance Towers again, so fans will definitely want to tune in!
Of course, we should also talk about Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) looming departure.
Victor is gearing up for an epic sendoff since his exit storyline is already in the works.
Although Victor was hoping to reduce the world’s population with a pathogen and protect only his elite inner circle, his plan will crumble right before his eyes.
There’ll be some terrifying moments for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) along the way, but help is coming soon!
GH spoilers say a rescue effort will move forward, so Trina, Spencer, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) should all be just fine.
Naturally, the same probably can’t be said for Victor!
There’s a good chance death awaits this twisted Cassadine considering how evil he’s been, particularly toward the end of his run.
All signs point to a fatal exit so far, but we’ll see how Victor’s failure and final moments ultimately play out.
Meanwhile, Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) condition will head downhill quickly, so that could bring a surprising breakthrough with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
It turns out Willow will make a big decision, so that’ll lead to a special request.
Nina will also promise something, so that may in response to Willow’s magnanimous gesture.
Willow may be open to a relationship with Nina in what she fears could be her last days.
Fortunately, there’s bound to be some last-minute miracle – either through a new bone marrow donor or through Liesl’s return in the nick of time.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) also seem poised to face backlash for insider trading, so that should bring accusations about who’s responsible.
Although Nina has been tempted to turn Drew and Carly in, it’s possible someone else could always make the SEC call in the end.
Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) plot against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is also on the verge of exposure, so he’ll have to deal with the fallout of that – and so will Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) since he’s the one who infiltrated Sonny’s organization on Michael’s orders.
As for Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and everyone connected to the Luke saga, they may find the reports of his death were greatly exaggerated!
There have certainly been some rumblings about Luke being found alive, so we’ll see if that becomes a May sweeps shocker.
