Nina boldly suggested Carly had the power to sway Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) feelings about her, leaving Carly wondering if her nemesis had a point. Still, Carly has more on her plate these days than worrying about Willow’s opinion.
She’s currently fending off accusations of insider trading alongside her absent boyfriend, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). While it may be true, fans are choosing to turn a blind eye to the indiscretion; after all, everyone loves a good drama, right? As they say though, timing is everything. Just as Carly starts to feel the slightest sympathy toward Nina’s plight, she’s going to learn the truth about who tattled to the SEC.

Willow’s entire opinion of Nina cannot be blamed on Carly alone. They were enemies long before Nina got tangled up with this family. Willow may have had a short-lived teaching career, but it certainly taught her a thing or two about Nina’s unwavering love for her daughters when she was teaching Nina’s then-stepdaughter, Charlotte Cassadine (AnaSofia Bianchi). That being said, Willow doesn’t want the strings that come with Nina’s motherly love. Can Carly convince her to see things differently?

But Carly is known for pulling the strings, and it seems she hasn’t been using her powers to help reconcile this mother-daughter duo. As Carly watches Willow and Nina dance around each other, she can’t help but wonder if she’s played a part in their current situation. Guilt can be a hard pill to swallow, but Carly’s willing to take a dose if it means she can fix what she may have broken. With Willow’s health hanging in the balance, Carly might want to reconsider her hands-off approach; she’ll regret it if she doesn’t step in and try to mend the rift before it’s too late.

Well, well, well. It seems that little Nina has been a busy bee behind everyone’s backs. Someone is going to turn over just the right leaf at just the right time that reveals it was Nina who turned Carly and Drew into the SEC, thereby delaying Willow’s bone marrow transplant as Drew was stalled in bringing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) back home safely. Carly will be fuming, to say the least. This new information is sure to throw a wrench in her plans to reunite Willow with her birth mother. Sonny isn’t going to be too happy with his lover either.
