General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Faces Prison But Not Carly – Incarceration Forces Lovers Apart?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) future together could be at risk. Carly pointed out that the SEC seemed more interested in Drew than her, so let’s consider the possibility that Drew’s the only one who’ll face real punishment.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is already starting to realize just how much her revenge on Carly could affect Drew.
Although Drew is risking his life to save Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and bring her home to help Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), he could return and lose his company as well as face a prison sentence.
Knowing the kind of guy Drew is, he may take all the blame once SEC agents finally have a chance to question him.
Drew may try to convince the SEC that he’s the only one who should face punishment and hope that it keeps Carly out of the slammer.
Since GH writers keep bringing up this prison possibility for Drew, could he truly face some time behind bars?
Even if it’s just Spring Ridge, Drew could get locked up for a period of time away from the people he cares about.
Of course, this would be incredibly hard on Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), so it could add to Nina’s guilt if Drew faces a tough goodbye with his little girl.
That’s especially true since Drew already lost years away from home due to his time in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) clutches.
However, this new forced separation would also mean another obstacle for Carly and Drew’s romance.
Carly might face a difficult farewell of her own with Drew if he lands at Spring Ridge or Pentonville over the insider trading mess.
It’d make Nina’s decision to rat Carly out even worse if Drew winds up being the only one who suffers real legal consequences.
That said, Carly would suffer on a personal level if she’s forced to watch Drew get incarcerated. Will prison be what comes between Carly and Drew next?
General Hospital spoilers say Drew and Carly still have some challenges to overcome, so stick with us for updates on any bad news that’s headed their way.
